I pulled up at after ordering and was not greeted at all. I was simply told my total was $11.56 and then left standing there waiting to hand over my card. I understand that not everyone loves their job, but basic customer service still matters. A simple "hello" or "your total is $11.56" would have made a huge difference. After paying, I waited about five minutes for my food without anyone letting me know there would be a wait or giving me any update. They took my payment and simply walked away. I also had to ask for my receipt instead of it being provided to me. The food and my drink were good, and honestly, this may be my new favorite Sonic drink, but the customer service definitely needs improvement. I shouldn't have to feel like I'm inconveniencing someone just by placing an order. read more

I got something extremely simple. I got a Diet Coke, and asked for it dirty (that adds sweet cream, lime, and coconut). Got my drink took a drink, and it was normal. So I asked if they made it dirty, and the person working the window said yes, when it clearly wasn't. Not happy, this is not the first time this has happened at this location either. read more

First time visiting this location after a busy back to school day. I thought it was closed because it looked run down and dark but it was en route to my destination and I was short on time so I stopped by for convenience. There were typed notes pinned all over the speaker and menu advertising specials, honestly it looked tacky. As I drove off I noticed my order was incorrect. It may have been because the order taker continued to speak over me and didn't pay attention. I got a bad vibe all around but ignored it so my kid could get her meal. I called to report the incorrect order and no one wanted to take accountability however, Roderick vaguely offered me to come back so they can remake my order. When I returned I was met with attitude and got my order shoved into my hands as if I were the problem. I'd save myself the headache and avoid this place. read more

Wrong drink, wrong dipping sauce, $1 short on change. Stay away from here. I said Large Cherry Limeade and received some horrible tasting frozen drink. Asked for ranch dip and received marinara. GOT IT MAJORLY WRONG!! Will not go there again. Horrible service. My bill was $7.88 and gave a $10 and got $1.25 in change. read more

I love Sonic as a franchise! But this location in Mont B is an exception. It has to be the worst Sonic in all of America. About every 6 months I'll give it a shot hoping it's changed. Negative. Previous visits I've been they was always out of whatever it was I was ordering. Today they had it! And the meat had to have been siting for at least an hour. Cold and hard. Bread was stale. This is extremely poor ownership! If someone reading has the capital and actually gives a damn, this would be a money making franchise to obtain! Great location and product if the right management and employees are in place! If you're the owner, sale it! You clearly don't give a damn and you're the problem!!! read more

Went there at 9:30 to get a hamburger and the "manager" said they were only doing drink orders. I asked why and she said I have to be out of here by 10:00 to go to school tomorrow. Told me to go over to What- A - Burger or some other place to to get food. Calling and writing corporate now. read more

I placed a moble order here on aug 4, and they had the audacity to not the the patty on my burger.

Every time I forget, I shouldn't go here... I encounter some new level of incompetence. They are often out of menu items. I wanted a small type with my meal, but poor little girl said it comes with a medium. I seem to confused her when I asked if she could bring me up for a small. often times if you wait forever for them to greet you at the drive-through speaker, they will finally come on asking if they can help you only for them to cut you off seeing if you can give them a minute when you start talking. read more

I never leave reviews but this place is sus. They gave my sister a spoiled milk shake, and they wanna try saying that's just the vanilla.... We all tasted it and almost threw up‍. She asked for a refund and worker just walked away. read more

This is the worst Sonic in the Baytown area! I have tried this one several times just because it's convenient but I will never go back. The food is horrible and the service is just as bad as the food!!! If you're smart you will stay away from this Sonic on Hwy 146 Baytown. read more

Marketing is great. It brings you in to try their newest item. Crave burger was served up on a warm bun. Condiments were okay but the meat was burnt badly on one side and the other was so so. It had to be in a warming tray and not fresh. The cheese was not melted which means the sandwich was put together like stacking it with concern it would taste good. Just put it together, wrap it and out the window. I hate my job! Management has to take charge here. Or do they hate their job too? I was hunger and would have devoured it in seconds but it was so bad I had to force myself it take another bite. I decided to eat the meat and that was not edible. Look at the 2 pics of The same patty on both sides. One side had to be on the grill for quite awhile to be that burnt. I texted GM from the receipt and he apologized. Offered to replace my meal. I declined and said he needs to see who is their cook. There is a problem in this store that needs to be fixed read more

I stopped in here for a quick dessert after a long day on the road. The service was decent enough - quick & with a smile. This is a pretty big sonic, complete with a ton of spaces & a drive thru. It wasn't crowded when I was there, but at least they're prepared. Nothing worse than a tiny Sonic with a large crowd! I tried out a rootbeer float, but it was waaaaay heavy on the ice cream, light on the rootbeer, & had a ton of whipped cream on it. I tried to mix it all up & get the float effect, but no such luck. After a half dozen bites or so, I was done. *sigh* Guess I should stick to homemade from here on out. Can't completely judge the place off of one visit, but it seems like a fairly well run operation. Beats McDonald's in my book any day :) read more

Avoid this Sonic. We had breakfast coming from Houston to Beaumont - and it was terrible. Cold, slippery goop is gross. It was supposed to be a sausage toaster. What I got was something completely inedible. We took a chance and stopped back by coming from Beaumont to Houston and had a late lunch - the cheese sticks were cold. They were obviously from someone elses order and had sat there for a while. Gross again. Just don't do it. Avoid. read more

Gross ... The only half decent thing I can say is that service time is not horrible and the carhop is always friendly. Sonic has always been a little higher priced for a burger than some others but this does not bother me for a better quality product ... however, this location has turned to crap. Food is ALWAYS cold, patties are old, even at 1045am. Burgers are cold enough that the cheese is still cold. Fries and tots ... if you get what you ordered ... are old, soggy and soaked with grease. This has been my experience my last 3-5 visits over the last 2 months ... done. It's worth the trip over to Garth Rd for Five Guys! read more

Baytown, Texas Dear Yelp Diary: Convenient place off the highway. Yeeee haw! Dedicated to my First Yelp location. and it had to be ice cream! Haha. (Joke: I am so not an ice cream person.) Not my decision... Wait do they even sell ice cream here? Here is the story: I think this was my first time I've ever used yelp in my life and this is the place I came to via Yelp. So the kid RA was some doctor wannabe, driving me and another chick through Texas & wanted ice cream while we were on the highway. He introduced me to Yelp. It was like 2012. I've heard of Yelp. Never used it. Never knew of this app. So I downloaded it. They asked me: how did I get around if I never had yelp? They are college students and real younger than me. And Im like I can get around just fine without Yelp. Only lost people use yelp or people afraid to ask for directions from strangers. LOL. I've always ate wherever I reached, was never afraid of getting lost and I don't hunt for restaurants since they are all over the place!!!! And who cares how a server was with someone else, they won't be mean with me if I treat them appropriately. It might just been a bad day or whatever also. And I pretty much don't pay attention to servers. I pay attention to the food. Im hungry. And I guess I'm pretty lucky people around are me are foodies and they never use Yelp and they been all over the place & they take me with them sometimes. I thought yelp was kind of weird as heck as first! I never liked hunting for restaurants because it is out of my way. And besides the restaurants in front of you are usually an okay establishment because others are eating there and they are still moving. LOL. When you're hungry you wanna eat wherever you are and for whatever type of food you see available nearby. That's kind of common sense. And this is my story about how I got addicted to yelp! It is good for your stomach and much more. I think Yelp is more beneficial for identifying hidden less obvious business locations and it really does open up your options when you are in an area. For example: Kind of like a GPS for food. read more

Don't order a shake. They apparently don't know what they are or how to make them at this location. You should be able to drink a shake through a straw. And most disappointing of all.......Kailey. Slow as molasses and she has the personality of a rock. No "thank you", no "come again", no "piss off", no nothing. Find another job if you hate this one so bad. read more

I felt slightly apprehensive after reading the recommended reviews but really had a taste for cheese stix and (bc of my 7 year old copilot,) it was either sonic or McDonald's. Attendant was very pleasant, and what's even better is I don't think we waited a full 5 minutes to get our order, which, btw, was excellent. read more

As an over the road truck driver who just pulls off the interstate after a full day of driving I park my truck and walk over to Sonic at 2235, that's just 25 minutes to close. I go into their dining area and the young female manager comes out telling me she cannot make me any food other than milkshakes. That her crew has been getting yelled at for not finishing their clean up in a timely manner. So this has resulted in me, well before closing, to not be able to order food as a customer. Shameful. I may give them a second opportunity in the mourning but the evening crew only 1 star. read more

Update: they redid this place making it good for a while but it's gone downhill again. According to the Internet this opens at 6 on Sunday's. I show up at 6:55 and they told me they didn't open until 7. When they opened they told me the kitchen wouldn't be ready for 40 minutes. read more

Service is awful. It takes 10-15 minutes to get one drink when it's not even happy hour. I parked to order this time thinking it would be faster that the slowest ever drive thru, but was I wrong!!!! When I asked the carhop if it always took more than 10 minutes to get a drink she replied with we're very busy right now and are trying to get all the orders sorted out. I looked around and there were three cars who already had their orders because I watched them get delivered, and no cars in the drive thru. There was also two car hops working. I've given this Sonic several tries and there's never any improvement. They need new management who is trained so the employees can be properly trained. read more
