I go there right at 12:00 and avoided the rush that came in right as I walked out, lol. The owner himself waited on me and helped me with my order. The place is so clean and clearly a great place to hang out if you aren't just wanting to eat. One side is a small bar area - but not too small - complete with a jukebox! TV screens are placed in good spots. The owner chatted about their history and I was interested in the history of Mesquite. A lady brought out my meal and took the time to smile at me, such a change from places that are in such a rush. My son loves it and now I'm a fan. You must check out this local-owned charming place! The lady at the front then told me the system was locked, unlocked it, and had me pay AGAIN. Now I'm looking at my account and BOTH payments were taken, totaling $16.78. I did exactly what I was told to do, and now I'm being treated like I'm the problem. That is completely unacceptable. If your system failed to process the payment correctly, that is not something I should have to pay for. I should not have to argue or repeatedly explain myself just to get back money that was charged to me because of an issue on your end. What makes this even more frustrating is that nobody seems willing to actually work with me or come to a reasonable solution. I'm not asking for anything extra I'm asking for the duplicate charge to be refunded. I expect this to be taken seriously and resolved instead of being brushed off. Nvm Apple returned my money.

This place is excellent in food and service. I like that they have a little hot sauce bar too. They have started making a jalapeño ranch and that is delicious. Some of the best dishes are: Birria Tacos - always good and melty Chilaquiles- the best I've had with Barbacoa. They give you so much you could share it. El Pastor Torta - they pay attention to the details. They toast the bun and every piece of the torta is done right. Churros con cajete - these are ridiculous. So delicious, fresh and hot.

The burgers are massive, cooked through but still juicy and tasty. The sides are very generous portions. The order included three drinks and was only $24.00! What a bargain! Last week same people went to Whataburger, it was almost $50.00 and the food there would be a distant 3rd behind this place.
