Sonic in Anson, Tx 5378 I want to give them zero stars! This establishment has the worst customer service ever! I get it, they get swamped with online orders but they are making this more of a priority to get these meals or drinks placed online 1st than the orders placed at the actual restaurant by ppl who want to eat there. 30min wait for drinks has been my experience almost every time. Its watered down and prepared before it's actually brought out. The food is delivered cold, it's prepared before it's brought out. You will literally arrive and be the only car at the stall first while ppl start to trickle in. You will literally see your order pushed behind everyone else. Again, online orders are a priority, which is unacceptable and not fair for dine-in customers. Weekly you'll deal with no ice cream, no lids, no straws and at this point they serve no drinks that day! Orders are brought wrong, now thats consistantLocals complain so much about the inconsistencies of orders and attitudes on FB. Is there even a real manager on site? The lead assistant is very rude if you complain about the order being incorrect. I've seen many people get refunds because they are not willing to fix their mistake. One time I placed my order waited 34 minutes. I called it in twice to remind them finally brought it out took one bite, and it was very cold! This had me angry because I ordered and was the only car and they catered to everyone that had arrived after me. I walked in there to demand my refund. My food was cold and the young girl said they were shorthanded. There's five people here and three in the back sitting with their cell phones in hand. She was very upset with me as I was with her! I felt the service was completely unacceptable me having to wait almost 40 minutes for a cold burger, which they let sit there while they fill all the drinks from online orders. When I thought it could not get any worse, June 27 I ordered dinner for my family. The car hop delivered my order and I noticed the most disgusting thing I cannot unsee. As he handed me my drinks I noticed how filthy the young man's fingernails were. Filthy!! They were long with dirt underneath his nails. I thought how sick it made me want to gag because he handed me my food and drinks. I didn't bring it to his attention instead I called at 10 o'clock that night. I mentioned the hygiene of dirty fingernails Handling food is a big no no! Im writing this review in hopes the actual General Manager sees this. They need to stop hiring these young kids to run this restaurant thinking they got it all under control when it is nothing but pure madness! The locals have had enough! Ordered food and drink and ran to a track meet to watch my kids. No flavor at all in my drink (only carbonated water) but not a huge deal. The food wasn't correct either. I ordered ice cream when I left the track meet 2 hours later. Get to the sonic and I'm told "our ice cream isn't working". They've told me I'll get a refund of my ice cream. (We'll see ) I then told the lady that my drink had no flavor- she left and came back telling me that it was too late "if you'd come back within 2 hours we would've replaced it". I asked to speak with the manager. I then asked 3 more times to speak to a manager and was told each time, "she's busy, she'll come when she's READY!" I finally left after 25 minutes of waiting. I didn't get my 2nd order or ice cream but I might get a refund (it doesn't show on my credit card yet). I didn't get an acceptable drink that I ordered and they refused to replace it. I was recently at the location in Anson, Texas and I will not be back to that location. I waited for service for 15 minutes. I was at stall 14. When I initially pushed the order button I was told "be with you in a minute." So I waited. A truck pulled in 2 stalls down from me and immediately was helped and placed his order. (#3 no ketchup medium tator tots Coke Zero, hamburger dry medium French fry Coke Zero) While he was ordering I proceeded to push the order button again. He completes his order and I see that the red light is off again. So I push the order button again. Someone comes on and says "I'll be with you in a minute." Which I proceeded to wait even longer. I finally left without ordering. They were not busy. There were 3 cars on one side, myself and the truck that just got there. If there is a sonic in a town when I am traveling it's always my choice. Good location on the main drag, easy to get to. Old style car hops after you order, with the upgrade of pay by credit card if desired. Wide variety of foods all American staples. Happy hour is 2-5pm daily where drinks are 99 cents, and corn dog for the kids are 99 cents. Don't forget to tip the wait staff. Good, hot. Food. read more

If there was a "no" star that's what I would rate this Sonic. Their speakers apparently don't work because they can't hear you and if you raise your voice so they can get your order they tell you to calm down. Our order came out slow as Christmas- cold and no ice in the drinks . We are huge Sonic fans but won't be back to this one ! read more

The service was awful. I placed my order on the app hoping to cut my wait time down. I still sat waiting for my order for over 15 minutes. Only to then be told they were out of mozzarella sticks and wouldn't have more until their truck came, tomorrow. Stopped here for a quick lunch. I ordered a burger with no cheese add bacon, jalapeño, tomatoes. Long behold my burger came out with cheese. So I told them about it and it came back with no cheese but my jalapeño was not added. If simple attention to details like this is miss I can't imagine other things. I won't be back. Ten minutes after pressing the button, no one took my order and I had to leave. returned with my daughter and the same thing happened. Called them to be told repeatedly how busy they were. There were three other customers there. I am so tired of spending money at establishments that don't accept responsibility for poor service and rectify the situation. Zero stars. I frequently go to Abilene and stop here for a refreshment. On one occasion I developed food poisoning from a Sonic Blast I consumed. The milk, products or machines they use to make items that have ice cream are not being cleaned properly. The ice cream and dairy items smell sour. Please be careful eating here! read more
