Also he was responsible for shots of each and every event leading up to the main "social". Almost 99% of the families involved had members photographed in past years so we knew what to expect. For myself, this was our 4th trip to the rodeo, in addition my third involvement with the older group. Pro:Steve is very nice, interested in pleasing everyone and knows his craft. Cons: kept saying he "always photographed X" and therefore he automatically knew what we expected. Results: for my individual shot, Steve took over 20 shots of my son (age 12) but only after 10 did *I* realize his shirt and bow tie were crooked, had to fix, and those were included in my choices. Previous photographers had made sure my daughter/son were perfect and those weren't counted as options. We were required to choose a particular pose for the program, and that limited things further. Upon finding an acceptable one, but requesting it be cropped so my son's head would be centered in the shot (both vertically and horizontally), that was done. However, my handsome son was now photoshopped to have perfect skin with a model finish and bright blue eyes (they are lt blue grey), rosy cheeks and kissable lips. ???? Remember I said I also assisted with the college students photographs. These are of young ladies in white gowns, and the best backgrounds are classic. Photography inside a classic hotel, house, or the Capitol is very possible (and has been done for decades) but requires someone who looks at everything. Mothers complained about chandeliers growing out of heads and plants growing out of sides. Now, once Steve was faced with those who openly pointed out each of these issues he worked hard to accommodate many changes--he just didn't see the overall picture from the beginning, and seemed to have some challenges setting up classical settings as choices. Sometimes the background limits your options, but I was at this same house for two sessions and after the second mother pointed out issues the three of us (Steve, mother and I) found much better options. Setup shots and group shots of at least one special group event included shots where people had to finally tell him to go away. He didn't seem to realize what shots weren't needed at all (someone not yet in makeup and in rollers!!) For a wedding that might be fine because only family sees those shots but for us everyone in the very large group sees everything :) The worst was: when presented with an issue: "I'll just send it overseas to photoshop it out". The price paid for a premium photographer for an entire event is to get the know-how to prevent things like this. Or the skill set to Photoshop it *yourself* and tweak things very carefully. Yes the industry trend (and trend for everything ) is to send it overseas. However, we "bought and paid for" the skill set to do it yourself, or at least tweak the really important things so that *must*be kept in mind. If that had been done, maybe my son wouldn't look like he was ready for pre-teen magazine. Overall:maybe a good photographer for cookie cutter shots, or when one family works with him like a wedding, but definitely not recommended for "mixed groups".

Yet Steve quickly established a rapport with him and was able to really capture my son's personality with excellent portraits, and he also got some terrific candids! The quality of the finished images is outstanding. I was very pleased.

They will climb trees, crawl through dirt and walk through brackish water to capture the perfect photo (literally). There is nothing this duo can't do. They were great at giving directions and making everyone feel comfortable while they were taking pictures. We were truly amazed at how many amazing moments they captured on our wedding day. Not only did they take our wedding photos but they also took our engagement pictures. The engagement photos were equally as amazing. You will not be disappointed if you choose them as your photographer. Not only are these guys talented they are extremely professional and courteous. They responded to all of our questions promptly and really made us feel like we were a priority. They are extremely personable and fun to work with. For the quality of pictures that they take they're extremely affordable.

I recently had time to look at the headshots Eric took and I had such a hard time narrowing them down, they all looked so good! Working with Eric was very simple and easy. He is a great guy, on the day of my appointment I was having car trouble and Eric offered to pick me up and drop me off. He is so easy going and professional to work with. He is also very quick with the camera. We took about 400+ photos in less than an hour with me changing shirts like three times. It was also convenient that Eric had a stash of Blazers to wear just in case yours doesn't look right on camera. Like I said before the photos came out great! Eric told me at the end of our session that I could pick my favorite photo he would retouch it for me. To be quite honest I am so pleased with the photos I don't think any of them need retouching. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks to Eric for the great photos. I would recommend him to others. :-)

My friend is one of Georges best friends as well and she's been getting her head shots and personal photos done by Georges for a very long time. I was super nervous when I first started to take pics with Georges, especially since my friend and him had so much chemistry, were having all this fun and her pictures were rocking and rolling and looking amazing and beautiful. Georges was so cool, he helped me chill out and gave me great tips that would really make the photos come out the best they possibly could. It ended up being a really fun day and, of course, my pics came out great! I get an insane amount of compliments and rave reviews of my head shot and I feel like the only reason the picture looks so great is because of Georges. Legitimately, it's just an awesome photo and job done by him. I've had 2 or 3 different sets of head shots done by him, they're all incredible and I will never have anyone else do my pictures, ever again. We then hired Georges for our office grand opening to take photos of the event and also have a photo booth section, which he managed both tasks, beautifully. The event photos came out AAAAAAMAZING!! He did SUCH a great job capturing a pretty cool night for us! I think Georges is the best photographer in Austin and probably even the world! I seriously love him and the work he does!!!!!

Before I get into the photos, I'd like to describe the details on the business side. From the moment we set terms and signed our contract, Raudel was absolutely professional, so organized and punctual. The lines of communication were always clear and open and he always made sure we were on the same page with details. He sent a proposed day-of schedule that we tweaked together accordingly with our schedule as well as other vendors. I was so stressed out with the planning itself that it was nice and REALLY appreciated that he had a proposed a schedule that allowed for wiggle room in case things had to get moved around (think bridal suite photos, first look shots, bridal party portraits, family, etc.). Post-wedding, the turnaround time was great and as previously mentioned, he always answered any questions I had in a timely and professional manner. On the creative side, Raudel took such beautiful photos. It's true when they say your wedding day just flies by and you wish you could re-live it ten times over (but sadly, you can't!). Raudel's photos brought to life all the details and colors and emotions of that day. For weeks after receiving our photos, my husband and I found ourselves with goofy smiles browsing and can't express how happy we were with the moments captured. I couldn't recommend DelFoto enough for your engagement and wedding photography needs. His attention to detail and work ethic make for such a memorable experience, not only on print.
