The admin staff was super nice but the nurses were inattentive. The first night bells were going off all over and when I asked at the mid station a young man said the patient had to go to the bathroom and they were waiting for a nurse... for over an hour, no exaggeration. Your loved one's health is way too important to take chances with. Moved her to Harbour's Edge, which is far superior so far. The facility is clean, well organized, and the staff is caring and professional. Scotty, the Enrollment Director, was friendly and helpful throughout the admission process and made everything clear and straightforward. Sheila, the Head Nurse, is attentive and clearly takes pride in the care being provided. Lina in Social Services was kind, responsive, and supportive, helping us navigate the process and answering our questions along the way. Overall, the team at Legacy made a challenging situation easier, and we appreciate the care and attention they provided. We would recommend Legacy Nursing and Rehabilitation Center to others looking for quality care in Boca Raton.

He has been there about 6 months so far and we have been overjoyed at the service and community they provide! Everyone who works there is so friendly and really seem to enjoy what they do and that feeling permeates throughout the facility and into the residents. Everyone we encounter, anytime we visit, are always smiling and happy. My dad was depressed after my mom passed, and since moving there has become his old self again, smiling and joking. My sisters and I take comfort knowing he is being well fed and well looked after. But not only do they provide for his basic needs, they also provide for his social and emotional needs by offering all kinds of events. They do a walking club, which our dad uses his walker and joins. They offer outings and lunches. They recently did a "dream flight" for the veterans where they got to go to the Boca Airport and take a ride on an open air plane from the 1940's!! Then they did a ceremony for the Veterans for Veterans Day and each veteran was called up by name, given a pin, a certificate and a quilt donated by the group "Quilts of Valor"! It was beautiful and touching! I cannot say enough good things about how pleased we are with the Veranda Club. I highly recommend to anyone looking for either themselves or a parent. It was such a hard decision to move our father into a community, but has turned out to be the best decision we ever could have made.

I found myself suddenly in the position of searching for Assisted Living for my mom this past…read moresummer--from 3,000 miles away. I am *incredibly* grateful to have found The Arbor at Delray via extensive searches of various search engine reviews (note: they thankfully have a lot more reviews, and quite positive ones, outside of this particular engine). It was very easy to connect with the leasing team. I worked predominantly with Jarrett from start to finish, and I cannot sing his praises loudly enough. I was able to get a complete video walkthrough tour in real-time with him on short notice, he helped us to navigate the challenging situation of a nebulous rehabilitation discharge date, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and was SO communicative and helpful throughout the process, well after his job was complete. He went so far above and beyond for my mom in getting her set up once she arrived. My mom has been at The Arbor at Delray for almost three months at this point, and she has adjusted really nicely, which is a HUGE testament, because like so many, she was quite resistant to the (very necessary) transition from independent to assisted living. She went from pleading to return home from rehab rather than enter any assisted living (not yet having seen The Arbor) to asking me to sell her independent living condominium after moving into The Arbor. During the time that outside home health services were visiting her, I repeatedly received the unsolicited feedback from them that this was among the nicest facilities they'd ever visited and that they would be thrilled to have the opportunity to reside their themselves. One of them joked that she was scheming how to break her own hip to qualify and referred to it as the "Taj Mahal of Assisted Livings." If you're looking at The Arbor, keep looking. I couldn't be more delighted and RELIEVED that our search led us here and that we were able to secure a spot for my mom where I can know that she is well-cared for in a clean, cheerful, respectful environment... with GOOD FOOD TO BOOT. My mom actually likes the food (did I mention the filet mignon that's on the "always available" menu)- which is quite high praise coming from her and not exactly typical of assisted living settings. She describes the nursing staff as universally polite and helpful, and I only wish she had the energy to attend the various lectures and singalongs and brain games and casino nights and ballet recitals and alllllll the things that this vibrant community offers. Seriously, I am grateful every day that The Arbor was an option at the time we were searching. Thank you again Jarrett for helping to make this happen, and thank you also to the rest of the team - Jennie, Zusy, Teresa, Karen, and anyone else I'm forgetting - for your care of my mom. I am eternally thankful.

Met, Jennifer, one of the staff in management at the Arbor. She was very helpful answering questions about the facilty with respect to cost and regular activities. She took us on a tour of the Arbor and showed us a studio unit. I appreciated Jennifer's professionalism and concern answering questions about activities, Jewish services on Friday and matters pertaining to medically available staff. I am seriously considering becoming a resident in The Arbor for these reasons. Star rating 5.

Architecturally, it is perfect for our elderly. Everyone gets his/her own bedroom with a private bathroom shared by two "suit-mates.' The premises are clean. I heard that no one got Covid-19. If you see the facility, you can understand why. Residents are separate and group activity work is in small groups. Going forward, it is my hope that it will be a great experience for Mom. My disappointment was in the overall admissions process. Tina, the salesperson is fantastic as is Chantel, the memory care director. Anna in nursing was nice. Most of the individual directors are great. What was missing was a coordinated admissions process. Each new resident should be assigned an admissions coordinator to introduce the family and resident to all the individual directors. We were told to come to a meeting when Mom was admitted. I envisioned all the directors present; but instead we met with a disgruntled employee in the nursing department. She made us feel like we were wasting her time. She took the meds that we dropped off and that was basically it! Since then, I have been over there about five times to meet with five different people concerning Mom's plan. Monday I meet with PT. Today, I had to go back to nursing to drop off her supplementary vitamins. Tomorrow I have to meet with the plan coordinator. This afternoon I have to meet with Anne at the front desk to coordinate her furniture delivery. I believe that this process should have been better organized. We had to wait two weeks for her medical paperwork to be finalized; meanwhile we had Mom at home and were paying the facility and home health aides. I hired two CNA's to help Mom with the transition. Thank God I did this because one of the staff aides didn't even know she was there. Mom was so disoriented that she pooped in her pants, something she never did before. Again, I was thankful I had my aides there. It is a difficult transition for us. After feeling so comfortable with Tina...the sales rep; now I feel very insecure about my decision to admit her. Hopefully things will ironed out as she settles in. I am grateful for the first full night's sleep that I have had in years since Mom was admitted!
