I only have great things to say about my experience working with Boston Collegiate Nannies. As a first time mom, I had a hard time wrapping my head around letting someone else care for my child. The search process for a caregiver felt extremely overwhelming, and I was worried that despite my best efforts I would not find someone properly qualified to take care of my son. Thankfully, I found Boston Collegiate Nannies. My husband and I could not be happier with our nanny. She is wonderful and a tremendous help to our family. Our son lights up when she arrives in the morning, and she is clearly invested in his happiness and development. She is organized, engaged, and makes us feel confident that our child is in good hands. When we began our childcare search I found it to be extremely stressful; however, my first conversation with Lydia at BCN put my mind at ease. She clearly demonstrated industry knowledge, and she took a thoughtful, detailed inventory of the qualities that my husband and I were looking for in a nanny. Throughout the search process Lydia was extremely communicative and diligent, providing regular status updates and efficient follow up to any conversations we had with candidates. All of the candidates that Lydia recommended for interviews were excellent, and we could tell that she carefully considered the criteria that we discussed. I do not think that we would have had such a successful outcome in our childcare search without the help of Lydia and her team at BCN. I recently started working with Boston Collegiate Nannies earlier this month and I am very pleased with everything so far. My sister, who just started a position through BCN, referred me to them. I have been pleasantly surprised by the whole. Lydia and her team have been very helpful, professional and punctual. They respond to emails in a timely manner and are working very hard to keep the process as quick as possible. BCN takes the hard work out of the job search. From start to finish they assist you in finding a job. From interviewing you before they send your information to a family each time to checking in regularly to see how things are going. They even have a free training for each nanny called the "Savvy Sitter" training. It goes over the ins and outs of being a nanny. I am excited to finalize everything and start my new position soon. Lydia was amazing! Our family was in a tight spot and needed immediate help during COVID while it was very hard to find help. Lydia did an amazing job of quickly sourcing, qualifying, vetting and performing reference calls. Not only did Lydia exceed our timeline but she also exceeded expectations on the quality of candidates. Finally, while we had an urgent need Lydia did an amazing job of keeping my wife and I honest and making sure we thought through all of the angles of every candidate. Working with Lydia at BCN was wonderful. We have been through so much in our quest to find a nanny. They offer guidance to both me and my nanny family, and continue check ups throughout our time together. They match families and nannies based on similar styles of parenting, backgrounds, and interests ensuring that a perfect match is done each time! I have loved working with BCN, and adore my nanny family, which I would not have found without their help! I highly recommend Nannies using this agency for their own safety and security as well. They do backgrounds checks in the families and nannies to make sure everyone is safe. BCN is run by a group of women who are all either current or former nannies so they know the hardships that nannies sometimes can encounter.
