The inside of the restaurant is nicely appointed with an alcove in the front that seemed to be reserved for a large group (all of the places were set at a large table). My overall rating is mostly based on the incredibly good bowl of mussels I had. Perhaps, "bowl" is the wrong word and "very large container" would be a better description. The mussels were cooked in white wine, cream, tomato paste, go-chu-jang, fennel, garlic, dill, and served with fries and aioli. This is the first time in my life that I could not finish the entire serving of mussels. Since the quality matched the quantity ($25.50 USD). My wife had a massive hamburger, which contained bacon, caramelized onion, tomato, crisp lettuce, pepper jack cheese, truffle mayonnaise. It also came with french fries. It was so massive, she could only eat half of it (also $25.50 USD). Unlike other reviews, the service was fine, but as I said, it was not crowded when we went.

When one of us wanted a alcohol-free drink with a whiskey/smokey touch the bartender took it as a challenge and used a smoke machine to give the drink a smokey flavor. The drinks were really good and after taking that as a good sign we decided to try one of the deserts, the triple chocolate dish with havtornsorbet was our choice and it was absolutely outstanding. They habe a few fancy beers and ales too like Hönölulu. Some have private parties because the food is decent and cheap if you pay for the 100kr deal and you offer wine from your private stash. In the 80s-90s when sushi bars started to pop up in Hawaii and California they would let customers buy a bottle of whiskey and have it up on the shelf so when you came in you would just ask for a glass, 2 if you brought a friend. I remember one place would not let me because I was a girl. Times have changed. The wine cellar idea was popular while I worked for the Volvo Group in Gothenberg during the 90-00s. Back then the snobbery was about what you put in your locker...cases of beer unloaded from the Danish ferry? Special vintage whiskey crates? An actual wine library? I passed that trend also because we didn't drunk that much and we were quite happy with the assortment one could order at Systembolaget. We started with the cheese plate it was delicious and very large. The n/a champagne was the best I have had and am trying to import to the US. For our mains we have the burger and muscles and fries.
