Thankfully my husband said let's just go for it and we found Shy 9 months before our wedding. I am so glad we did because if I had waited and she were booked, I would have been devastated. When sifting through videographers we knew we wanted someone who had fun with wedding videos. We didn't want something sappy and cheesy and boy is our highlight far from that! It is edgy, fun, and energetic. Hiring Shy was the best decision we made during wedding planning. When Shy delivered the highlight video we gave some feedback regarding song choices and Shy was very understanding. She worked with us to find a song that we loved and we are so happy with the final product. She also started doing Instagram highlight videos which also turned out amazing. We haven't seen the full-length video yet, we are waiting for our 1-year anniversary, but I can't wait to watch it!

David was basically an angel on our wedding day. As one might expect, weddings are not something we deal with every day and are a highly stressful moment and he was always a step ahead with a solution to a problem or a suggestion to improve the big day. He even helped our photographers when they were struggling. Our video from that night is our most cherished item and really captured the event. He accommodated my special requests and not only delivered, but overdelivered. If you are considering videographers, don't hesitate. He is busy, so book him early. We almost missed out, but by the grace of whatever higher being, he got a cancellation and was able to work our wedding on relatively short notice. And we are smiling ear to ear watching out video over and over again. Check this off your stressful vendor/to do list. It is a layup decision. A total no brainer. Worry about what color you want your napkins to be or where your bickering aunt and cousin will sit or whatever, but just book this man and thank me later. After reviewing a few different videographers, I decided on Alex with ABAV Productions. However, my husband felt that since we had a photographer, he didn't see the point in paying more to have it recorded too. BUT, as soon as we received our highlights video, the very never day might I add, within seconds he said out loud "ok, that was totally worth it!!". First, let me say that Alex was such a pleasure to work with! He was there prior to us arriving, ready to capture any moment possible. He filmed so many different angles, beautiful moments during our photo shoot, even drone footage, and filmed way more than we thought he would. As mentioned, he sent us our edited videos the very next day and we are absolutely OBSESSED!! I have watched our highlights video probably a million times now haha Alex's talent is more incredible than we could have ever imagined, and he captured our day better than I could have remembered. He was worth every penny and more! However, once I got the contract, I couldn't sign it. Instead of sharing the risk 50/50, that company's contract put 100% of the risk on me. As a lawyer, that told me that the company doesn't even trust their own employees (and probably had problems in the past), and I wasn't comfortable with that. So when I shopped around again, I found Ray. At first, I was a bit concerned that I was only able to find information on him through Wedding Wire. I did a lot of research and couldn't find anything except for the Wedding Wire reviews and his website: http://www.elegantvideoproduction.com/ But the reviews looked legit, and the trailers on his website are awesome. I'm SO GLAD I hired Ray. The trailer we received was breathtaking, and the full video blew me away. I cried watching both of them. There are so many things I missed during my own wedding that I now know about because of the videos, and Ray made all the details look that much better. He and Chester were both very professional, very responsive, and very on top of everything. My wedding was at the Marriott, reception was at the Luxor, and post-reception party at Mandalay. They followed us around and shot a LOT of stuff, and they added their own bit of creativity to all of it. That day was the first time they met my photographer, and they helped her out as well, holding up the lighting for her, etc. There were little glitches along the way with timing, location (it rained last minute and we had to move indoors), but Ray and Chester just went with it. They are consummate professionals and artists, their prices are very reasonable, and I don't hesitate to fully recommend them. Ray is incredible!
