The time they took to make sure our wedding video and the story about us was spot on made for one of the most delightful videos I have ever seen (no bias). When I visited family who weren't able to attend our wedding and invited them to watch our video, they were underwhelmed to say the least...that is until they saw it. We watched it so many times that weekend, without exception people said it was the best wedding video they have ever seen. Very well done, great highlights of the best moments and highly entertaining. In fact, I had several requests for copies. I can't express how important a video of our wedding day was for me. We had put it on the…read moreback-burner for budget reasons, but as a professional wedding planner I know how quickly the day flies by - I wanted to savor every moment! We wrote our own vows, so that was my biggest area of concern (and I was right - I didn't remember anything he said because I was SO EXCITED to be there!) After finding Mike and expressing to him our budgetary concerns (and the fact that my fiance wasn't 100% sold on the idea of a video) he was very friendly and patient. He gave me a quote, but also gave me time to think about it. When we finally booked, he only took 10% of the cost as a deposit (low compared to other vendors I booked/have worked with in the past) which was a really appreciated. As we got closer to the day, he asked to meet for a one-on-one meeting to go over exactly what we wanted. He was very personable and easy to get along with - he put my fiance at ease about the video and listened to everything we asked for. On the day of the event, he was like a ghost (in a good way). I rarely saw him or his second shooter, but he managed to capture every moment perfectly. He gave us an accurate expectation of when we would have the video after the wedding, but was also polite/friendly when my mom and I emailed/text him to ask when it would be ready leading up to it. When we did get the video, my husband and I were so happy I can't even put it into words! He did EXACTLY what I asked for - I had a very specific style I was looking for and he nailed it. In short - I would recommend Cerious Productions 100% (and actually already have!) to anyone looking for videography.

I appreciated how she was willing to stay under water for long periods of time to make sure we got the perfect shots. She was great at directing me and letting me know what poses looked best underwater which was very important, because even though I'm a professional who usually needs little to no direction during photo shoots, shooting underwater is a completely different ballpark and her assistance was very much needed and appreciated. Lisa and Paul were kind enough after the shoot to go through some of the images with me and show me a little bit of their process editing my photos. It was authentic, raw, and perfectly captured all of the best moments of the day. Everyone who has seen the video cried, it was so packed with emotion and so so so special. It really is something we will cherish forever. My husband is definitely more on the quiet side, but they made him feel so comfortable. I truly don't think he would have come out of his shell nearly as much as he did with Will and Gerie. We had a few specific requests, and they made sure to apply those to the video. They were super timely with their delivery, getting us our trailer and video ahead of schedule. They were also super responsive to both email, text, and other communication, which made things so nice! Some of our other vendors weren't the best about getting back to us, but I always had a reply from vintage modern within a few hours, if not sooner. David was basically an angel on our wedding day. As one might expect, weddings are not something we deal with every day and are a highly stressful moment and he was always a step ahead with a solution to a problem or a suggestion to improve the big day. He even helped our photographers when they were struggling. Our video from that night is our most cherished item and really captured the event. He accommodated my special requests and not only delivered, but overdelivered. If you are considering videographers, don't hesitate. He is busy, so book him early. We almost missed out, but by the grace of whatever higher being, he got a cancellation and was able to work our wedding on relatively short notice. And we are smiling ear to ear watching out video over and over again. Check this off your stressful vendor/to do list. It is a layup decision. A total no brainer. Worry about what color you want your napkins to be or where your bickering aunt and cousin will sit or whatever, but just book this man and thank me later. He is worth every penny and many more pennies than he charges. I think he just really loves what he does.
