One of the best surprises I've ever had. Will definitely hire them to help us plan future events.

She's honest, creative, very organized and realistic - which are all the things I needed in a planner. Most of all, she calmed any anxieties I had in regards to planning and hosting a party. The day of the Mitzvah, she worked with all the vendors tirelessly to make sure the room was perfect and everything was ready to go. The room looked amazing. Once we arrived, she made sure we were happy and content and didn't worry about a thing. She took care of everything so we could just focus on having fun all night. My whole family absolutely loves Sandra. She is a great planner and a great person. I would recommend her services to anybody that is looking for a planner. You would be crazy to use anybody else.

When we go to events, most of us generally have expectations of what they normally entail. Some of us will begin to dismiss the possibilities of the unexpected. In my own observation and experience, Troy's events are not those events. Troy is not the planner you collaborate with when you want a normal event. He specializes in the unexpected. However, there are those of us that understands that every waking moment is unexpected. Everyday, we meet all kinds of people. But what is it about meeting them at a networking event, holiday party or wedding makes the unexpected come out of some. You will meet these people at Troy's events whether out of familiar faces or out of strangers you are soon to meet. If you're a event's professional in DC and you're not attending these events, you're missing out on making lasting connections. These are the kind of connections that propels personal and professional growth. In my past experiences. I've partied through the stroke of midnight with friends I made that evening at his Studio 54 DC New Years Eve Party. Set at the Blind Whino artistic venue, this event was a step out of reality and memorable. At the MES mixers, I've caught myself in the a truly diverse mix of DC young professionals ranging between artisans, techies, musicians, natural-born hustlers and jet-setters. The connections I've made so far can be best described as relationships fused between business and friendship. If you're a DC professional networker, a couple planning your big day, or living for those truly unique experiences, check out Troyal Events.

He helped us design the entire day, and the result was more beautiful that we could have ever imagined. We definitely felt he took the time to create a personal, individualized reception for us, as opposed to just pulling from a usual "bag of tricks." Troy was also invaluable by running our ceremony and rehearsal. He made sure we were calm, prepared, and stayed on schedule. We knew we didn't have to worry about any details besides sharing the day with our friends and family. The peace of mind was tremendous, and we couldn't have done it without him. Troy's professionalism and passion for his work is unparalleled, and I highly recommend you consider him to be a part of your next event.

Park on the left and walk along the back of the house to come up on a deep landscape of rolling hills with sparse fall colored foliage peaking behind some. Separating the property is an almost never-ending white fence that sweeps off and to the right. 2 large wide trees stand close to the house on the left. The brick walk that leads you to the back of the mansion follows into an almost covered bridge style gazebo which then escorts you into a large heated permanent white tent with a light wooden floor and tiny strung globe lights that create outward rays from the top center, almost 20 feet up. Damn, this venue is as cute as a muf! I wanna have my wedding up this in B. At the ceremony space that stands in front of one of the large hawthorne trees, are 2 brightly colored shining barrels for massive floral arrangements to hug the happy couple. Beside the tent is a raised brick patio where guests can enjoy a cocktail or 5, and if you step into the house, you'll find treasures of those described on Portabello Road #BedknobsAndBroomsticks My eye catches an old cabinet-style victrola, a baby grand piano, and rugs from around the world. It's almost like Steven has created a start-up farm immersion experience. At Steven's request, we started considerably later than expected on the horses so they wouldn't be exposed to extreme heat--which would be a potential disaster for me as a super-busy, over-scheduled DC person, but Steven was very polite about it and neither my party or the couple we met there were in any hurry. We also had the opportunity to Kayak in the lake near the main house, which was fun and relaxing, and Steven entertained us with engaging conversation. The actual horse-back riding vastly exceeded my expectations for excitement and interest. The animals were glorious and had distinct and entertaining personalities and idiosyncrasies, all well known to Steven. If you like speed, Spirit is a great horse for you; others prefer to take it much slower. You will get involved in every aspect of the horse's care--if you'd like--from swatting horse flies, feeding them, taking down saddles, and giving them a bath with a bucket, and you will get the best pictures you've ever seen for free, thanks to Steven. If you have a free day or evening, and you want a taste of what it would be like to live on a farm and raise horses, just go. Unless you own your own horses, it will probably be the best horse experience of your life. It will inevitably be fun, unscripted, and pleasantly unexpected.

Not simply because he was running late, but because the house (castle/waiting room/party room) was absolutely filthy. I was really taken aback by a business looking like this, even if it's a business that works w/ animals. When we got there, the owner and assistant were on a ride w/ another group. Then the group we were supposed to be riding with were an hour late, so we had to wait for them. It was just annoying, although Steven (owner) was friendly. When we walked into the empty house it looked like a construction space, a hen was walking around the inside and I even saw it poop IN THE KITCHEN! Things finally turned around when I hopped on Sherman (my white horse w/ black spots). He was a greedy little thing and ate up all the grass but he was a great horse. Steven immediately put ppl on the horses and taught us while we were riding. He was a straight to it teacher and I liked that. He definitely knows what he's doing when it comes to animals. He took a bunch of pictures and videos and sent them to everyone in the group. I'm thankful to have such awesome pictures that didn't cost us extra. I'm giving 4 stars despite the filth because Steven was friendly, welcoming, and I enjoyed the experience. Tip: -don't eat there if germs bug u -don't arrive early, there's no point -yes, you're in the right spot, even though it looks a little funky on the outside
