My consultation was very informative, and conducted inside of Dignity Products' warm and cozily decorated office located off of Healy Drive in Winston-Salem. Ms. Andrea (the owner), Cindy, Melissa, & Crystal all worked in conjunction with my medical team to find what was necessary for my particular needs. The employees were very friendly here and three people asked me if I was finding everything alright while I was shopping. I appreciate that in a store like Forever 21, often times there is no employee in sight to help you grab something from one of their higher displays. You know what you get when you come here. You aren't going to get high quality cloths but you will get some pretty stuff that will last you for the time being.

Usually a class above stores like Kohl's and some others. But in this age is the idea of these stores still relevant? I believe so. I still have the same needs as I did when i have went to these stores before and I think they still serve an important function as a place to go for those needs they meet and have met so well in the past. However, as today I visited this store today, i still see the relevance, but I also see their failures starting to shine through. Lots of empty customer service podiums in departments devoid of helpful employees. Those few that do have employees are swamped with customers needing help. Having worked in the department store environment before, I can see where the ball is being dropped and why the company needs to more closely look at their priorities. Managers who manage and meet the needs. While I ultimately chose to leave without buying anything and going to one of their competitors, I still think Belks can turn this around if the re-focus on their customers. Make sure their stores are adequately staffed. Not everyone shops online. Would I recommend Belks? Absolutely. Just go during non busy times, because they can still offer that one thing price does not meet.. customer service.

They have a fleet of sturdy plastic shopping carts with side grip handles, two built in drink holders and a bucket seat for lil' tykes. They are currently re-doing their Starbucks and customer service desks. They are in the process of upgrading their personal care section to a more modern and upscale experience including new and popular brands. Their customer service and self-checkout assistant folks are always friendly and helpful. I appreciate this location and am excited to see the results of the remodel.

It amazes me how this remains a superstore yet the prices are mostly high while the employees staffed to be upon the floor are at a laughable low. because of this apparent reason, I do not ever become a frequent shopper at this particular store just so that I save myself from headaches. Although never crowded whenever I am inside, I find it quite odd how there's always only a couple of cashiers actually working any and every time that I'm there. One of the small straps broke and needless to say, my daughter was distraught. She had taken great care of these sandals, always careful to never get them wet. We were surprised that this happened since Birkenstock has such a stellar reputation for quality. We really didn't know what to do so we decided to go back to the store to see if there was anything THEY could do, repair or suggest a repair place. We arrived on Sunday, April 28, 2019 and was promptly greeted by the manager named Karen. We explained the situation and she asked us, "Why didn't you buy the leather?" This surprised me and I said I assumed they were leather. She said nope, these straps were synthetic. I explained that we were never told anything was synthetic. HERE COMES THE GREAT PART. The manager gave us full credit for the sandals and we decided right then and there to upgrade to the "real" Birkenstock's and get the leather sandals. Yes, we had to pay the difference BUT this was outstanding customer service and I couldn't be happier. My wife and oldest daughter will be shopping for sandals soon and guess where we will go? That's right baby! BIRKENSTOCKS FEET FIRST AT HANES MALL IN WINSTON. These folks stand behind their product when so many do not. Get your butt here and ask for the manager, Karen. You'll be glad to buy from a place that backs up what they sell.
