I find it hard to believe that a for profit care company, like Well Health, is allowed to operate…read moreunder the Canadian Health Act and I plan to complain until I put them out of business. The doctor I had for yearsretired and her patients were assigned to a doctor here. I have worked in doctor's offices and the only people more incompetent than the staff are the doctors. Staff (that they are inusufferably rude goes without saying): 1. They never answer the phones and their phone menu is long and incomprehensible. I have waitied for up to 3 hours and no one ever picked up. The only way to book an in person appointment is by going to the clinic, and the only availability is for a telephone appointment. When I finally did get an appointment during Covid I waited online in the office for 20 minutes, when I reached the rude receptionist, I was told I was 4 minutes late and I would have to reschedule. I thought she was joking, so I laughed, 'Next', was her reply! 2. They lost my chart, well, really only most of it, but it was probably in storage. They only had a month out 40 years. Hmmm and how is this storage area sorted? This is the kind of place that could forget someone in an exam room and find them dead the following week. 3. One question per appointment. They cut you off, if you try to skirt this rule. You can book online for telephone appointments. 4. The doctor assigned to me is appropriately named Dr.Ho. When I am lead to the examining, I pass Dr.Ho and more than once I have seen him playing a computer game. The other exam room is empty. Still I wait 20 minutes for him to walk 20 feet to my exam room. 5. The first time I met Dr.Ho, was following a trip to the emergency room. The results of my pain and subsequent scan had not yet been shared with me. I was discharged to my family doctor. I watched as he read through the report and pronounced "Oh my God it's huge," he held up his hands like he was holding a small watermelon and sort of grinned. I had no idea what he was talking about. "What's huge?" I said. "What is IT?" I asked. "Oh," he said distractly, as he continued to look at his screen. "I guess it's an ovarian tumor?" At that moment I wanted to get up and leave but I needed medication. I looked at him and said, "I know your pretty new, but you have to work on your bedside manner." He gave me a pain script and said to call if Cancer Canada didn't get in touch. I walked out in a daze, I didn't know what to think. Was I going to die? He gave me a script for over a hundred pain meds (wouldn't get away with that these days) and I waited. The good news it was benign, the bad news was that I spent 2 weeks in utter terror until I had surgery. I will outline the various problems I have had during my many telephone appointments: -Zero compassion and frequent scolding for trying to slip in one more thing. -Googling as you speak and not having a modicum of knowlege about basic things that even I, a civilian know about. -Failing to prepare for appointments, by reading notes ahead. -Being so stupid that he told me I had Somatoform Syndrome (his opinion) which is a psychiatric condition in which you invent symptoms, ya know, like heart attacks and multiple fractures because he refused to give me medicine for osteoporosis, despite my having been on it when I lived in the states. I've broken 12 bones in 2 years as a result. -Calling 3 metatarsal fractures midfoot, that kept me in a cast for 2 months, my broken toes. -Failure to refer, which I have only found out when I end up showing up for an appointment with a specialist. -Failure to call in prescriptions. Especially concerning when you have vivid pain such as a broken bone. Or telling you he can't give you any more pain pills and that I should try biofeedback. If someone has had success with biofeedback to treat the pain associated with a broken hip, I'd be shocked. I'm 66, if I was going to be a junkie I would have started earlier and I shouldn't have to beg when I hurt. -Failure to call on a scheduled appointment or, calling hours after the appointment. -Calling the next day, when you had an appointment the day before and then telling you it's your fault. Or better calling the next day when you spoke to him the day before and he didn't remember. -Reading his opinion directly from the Google page I already have up on my computer. I have lived in many countries, including this one before it was sold to the highest bidder. Build the infrastructure, ya know, like healthcare, before you invite the world to come. I can't tell you how many times I've been behind someone in emergency who is a sponsored grandmother, who has just arrived from India, speaks zero English and has never seen a doctor. As a former resident of the US, who always had very good insurance, which I paid dearly for, I defended Canadian Healthcare until I'm blue in the face. On my 65 birthday I received my Medicare card from the US, I guess I'll use it.

I went back in time and was taken in at 10:40. My hearing in my left ear was very poor and likely was a wax issue. Dr. Nicholas Steinberg saw me and confirmed minor wax in my right ear and wax blockage in my left ear. He offered two options and I chose flushing with water. Dr. Steinberg flushed out my left ear and removed all of the wax. My hearing was fully restored. He also gave me instructions to put oil in my right ear as he did not recommend flushing it because the amount of wax was small. I was very pleased with the friendly approach by the receptionist, getting a fairly quick appointment, the lady who showed me to the room and Dr. Steinberg. I will most certainly continue to use this clinic for drop in issues such as today's. Barry M.

I don't want to write this review, but I will because you need to know…read more I called ahead of time. No one picked up. Ok...let's go in. Here we go..... Walking in to find the receptionist eating a sub sandwich. So, now we know two things. 1. Why no one answers the phone (it's not like sick people call here or anything), and 2. Why the place smells like a Subway rather than a clean medical clinic. Once she stopped chewing.....I asked to see a Dr. and she said they are at full capacity. Keep in mind that to my left their wait room had 1 person sitting on one of 10 dusty worn-out chairs in the so-called waiting area. I told her this is a walk-in clinic....the outside sign as well as your website says walk-ins welcome! She attempted to repeat herself and since I had no interest in wasting my time....I walked out. Hey!....this place turned a walk-in into a walk-out....wow....quite the accomplishment. Yeah....trust me....you don't wanna go here. Whatever you need to see a Dr. for....it deserves a clean, professional, caring and expert place..... This place is not it.

Now it has become a farce and it seems the doctor is more interested in running a skin care business. If you walk-in they tell you they close at 1pm or some bizarre hour, to come back at 8:30Am and there will be a lineup outside like India or something. When seeing the doctor his care seems distant and it is a business so you get five minutes. It is like you are a donut or something on the assembly line. Further I am not sure how much this doctor gives a hoot about patients now, follow-up is comical because he remembers nothing about you. Everything is off the notes about you. Referrals to a specialist from this place are so slow it's almost medieval like. There was a good receptionist but she seems to have left, replaced by those who really don't care and that is a big problem given things can really slip up here now !

By the time it was my turn it was already closing time but they treated me anyways, extending about an hour after their usual closing time. Hey I understand docs need to eat too but she could have let me know so I could go have gone to dinner too and come back? When she finally saw me she was cranky and rude. She didn't bother to glance at my chart (she's seen me 3 times before this) and was asking questions like, how old are you? Where do you work? Seriously? Just glance down at your chart! A week later I she still had not sent my referral. I called back and was told that nothing had been done but that the receptionist would remind her. So then I called back a few days later and it had not been done! (I checked my phone logs to see my history) A couple days after that I was finally told that she had done the form for the referral BUT they didn't bother to communicate with the doc why I wanted the referral, more on that later... I then called the specialist clinic (Clinic #2) where i am to be referred and ask for my appointment date and I was told she will get back to me but know that it will be sometime in October. So I just forgot about it and figured my part was done. I had already jumped through hoops to get this appointment scheduled. I forget about it until late August and decide to call clinic #2 and check when exactly my appointment is as I never got an exact data confirmation. She tells me she never got the referral!!!!! Then I called back first clinic and she says she will call them right away. I wait about 10 minutes and call clinic#2. She hasn't heard from Una yet. I try again in another hour and a half and she still has not received a call from Una. So then I had to call UNA and she says she will call right away....again. About a half hour later she calls me back and tells me that clinic #2 will not accept my referral because they only deal with a very specialised subject and not what I need to see the doctor for. Also Dr T put down "throat pain" for the reason of my referral. I have never had throat pain outside of a cold/flu and I certainly did not ask for a referral for throat pain" Way to listen Dr T. Sooooo incompetent and so disrespectful. This is 3 months of my life. And me dealing with 3 months of pain related to my issue only to be back at square one. Aaaaargh Do not go to Dr Todorovic. Save yourself, life is too precious.

Appointments have to be made online It's difficult to find contact info for specialists at the clinic. The staff are harried, over worked and under paid. Staff turnover is high, which may indicate a negative job experience for them. It's virtually impossible to get a face-to-face appointment The reception area feels like a hotel, not a medical clinic The care is uncaring, brusque, and perfunctory. There is no time for getting to know my "provider". I feel like a cog in a health care machine and miss the personal care I used to get from my doctor before he retired. And feel guilty for complainigg, because at least I have a doctor.

Dr. Ling Chen is the worst Doctor I have ever been to in my life…read more She is unwilling to listen to her patient's concerns and is extremely rude and cold. When I asked to look into my medical records to confirm a date for a medical test, her response was "I don't have time to read 100 pages". When asking her why I even had my records sent over, she answered "no, no more talking". When I told her I would like further clarification on the issue, she again shut me down and told me she would no longer see me as a doctor due to lack of communication. Absolutely appalling behaviour from a professional doctor. I wouldn't recommend her as a doctor, nor this clinic (the receptionist is equally as cold in her attitude) to anyone.

My relative had fallen many many times and the response times to alarms were on the slow side. Depends on who the care aid is on duty. I have a relative who has been here for two years already and here's my observations. Re Food: the breakfast does not vary day in day out it's the same old, oatmeal, steamed eggs and half a peanut butter/jam sandwich. Some rare days might get a muffin or scone. The lunches ususually not that good. The fish pieces often are heavily battered. The soup half of the times is good. The main objection I have is that this facility uses a lot of ultra processed food. Perhaps budget only allows for processed food. The dinner if it's not to your liking there's always chicken drumsticks to be had. Re Care: surprise that there's only 1 care aid after 11 pm while there's 4- 3 during the daytime. As anywhere else, there are some good care aids and some not so caring, All the LPNs I have encountered are very good. The care aids some are very helpful and caring. Re Cleanliness: the housekeeping staff does their best with this aging facility But there are mice that runs around the hallways and rooms during the evening. Generally all residents are congregated at the nursing station facing a small TV during the daytime. Easier to look after all at one spot perhaps. Too small an area for too many residents. Nice garden area for seating outside. there a really nice and very caring attending doc here but unfortunately not everyone can have her.

Abuse is abuse and I think it would be right to have caretaker fired ASAP. The caretaker at Little Mountain Place still works there and I find it extremely digusting that I have to worry about a relative of mine staying there. I would advise people to think twice if they want to take their family members, relatives, or friends to stay at Little Mountain Place. It would be advisable that all patients should wear panic alarms and video surveillance be manditory at this care facility for the safety of the patients themselves. It is sad because Little Mountain Place built its reputation as being safe and friendly for seniors, but from what I witness, Little Mountain place has gone completely downhill.

If you have an opportunity to go to another doctor/clinic, I would strongly recommend that you do…read moreso. My family doctor works there and given the fact that it's so difficult to find a GP, I'm stuck with it for now. The doctors that I've seen there have all been competent and attentive; that's not the issue. It's the medical system itself and the clinic's admin. The clinic itself leaves much to be desired. The waiting area can be best described as one you might have seen in Soviet Russia. I've always had difficulty getting through to make appointments on the phone, and when I finally get through, I have GREAT difficulty understanding what some of the receptionists are saying. When asked politely to slow down and speak louder, I've encountered attitude from some staff. Regina's attitude, accent and rapidity of speech is particularly poor; she doesn't listen and takes umbrage at being asked to repeat herself, speak slower, louder, etc. The rest of the staff at least tries. The admin is terrible; they seem disorganized and confused. I have to initiate follow up almost all the time, and they have very often dropped the ball on booking appts with specialists, etc. I've given the clinic 2 stars, rather than the zero I think it deserves, only because after I complained repeatedly about not being able to understand them, and expressed frustration to my doctor about support staff's inefficiency, they seemed to improve somewhat, although Regina's attitude still sucks. I've tried hard to connect with her as a human being to no avail. So I guess we have to complain and demand better service in order to have any improvement at all. So if you can, avoid this clinic.
