Both times I was told I needed a followup appointment, which meant I want more money if you want your prescription approved. The doctor didn't even know anything about the prescription he wrote for me. I asked a basic question, and he said,"I don't know. You should ask a pharmaceutical rep. " I really had to research the question myself online. All Dr. Burke wanted to talk about was his sports memorabilia in his office. I felt my experience was unprofessional. Once I got there, the office was clean and quiet and cool. The lady who checked me in was very nice and helpful. She gave me info about the sliding scale fee and my insurance. I didn't have to wait long at all before being called back. The hygienist was also nice. She was very gentle while doing the x-rays. She asked some questions and said the dentist would be there as soon as he could. I waited a very short time. Dr. Powers came in and introduced himself and shook my hand. He asked several questions to make sure he knew my situation. I had been dreading the exam, but he was very gentle and apologized if it hurt. He also did something no other dentist has done, which is examine my mouth and tongue for signs of cancer, ect. He then gave me several options about what to do about the tooth, and explained everything very well. Plus, after prescribing the antibiotics, he asked aboit a certain side-effect that comes with antibiotic use, and prescribed a med for that also. The lady who did the check out was just as sweet. She said they were short handed but I couldn't tell...the two at the front desk were rocking it. I'm so thankful that I was told about this place.

They discovered a uterine fibroid, gave me birth control, and when I said I was still experiencing multiple menstrual cycles within a month, all I was told was "the fibroid shouldn't be causing that much bleeding" but no other options were given to me. I finally got an appointment to see Kenzie Glassburn. She spoke for 20 minutes straight about birth control options. When I would have a question, she would just talk over me. Now, in 2026, so 4 years later, I've found a doctor who actually listens to me and I've been diagnosed with endometriosis and Uterine Hyperplasia, which is often precancerous. When I expressed how my quality of life was being heavily impacted, Dr. Glassburn simply replied "lots of women have fibroids." Don't go here if you care about your health. I'll be receiving a hysterectomy soon. Maybe my reproductive health would have been saved if Shawnee had taken my concerns seriously.

Got them and they were not fitted to my face. Got them home and had headaches for a week so took them back. They had been marked incorrectly (imagine that!) so they sent them back to be remade. I got first ones in 2 days, well I guess they didn't like being corrected. After a week, I asked about them. They were in polishing. After 2 1/2 weeks, I called again and still not back so I demanded refund. I was told that they had to get approval. I said I wanted supervisor. I had to call Marion office.
