She has no respect for the workers. Everytime she's spoken to me it was uunprofessional and mean. It's like she's trying yo belittle you. I rarely go in the office but when I do she has looked at me and WHAT DO YOU NEED? YOU! WHAT DO YOU NEED? Not may I help you or anything professional or respectful. I told her I'll be speaking to HR about her and she laughed saying loudly TELL THEM! TELL THEM ABOUT ME! TELL THEM TO CALL ME, I'M THE MANAGER. She thinks she's untouchable.

About 11:00 a.m. began the TORNADO WARNINGS that were in the area. It went on until well after 1:00 p.m. There were 10 of us in total (5 staff members and 5 candidates). Of those staff members included a most PHENOMENALLY COOL AS A CUCUMBER manager that heeded warnings both via cellphone alerts and weather reports on his laptop. I am only saddened by the lack of my ability to insert his name!However; I am STILL absolutely awed by his continued confidence! He took charge of his staff and showed a concern for us. It was easy to obey his calm instructions while never SHOWING fear. If it were not for the slight difference in his facial complexion I would never have known that he too was worried! As a "Professional People Watcher," and highly enthusiastic individual by nature I kept feeling calmed by just watching his poise and hearing his calm tone of voice! As he cane came outside his office to ask that we "stop what we are doing and head into the back of the office." I began to feel nervous and asked if I could have some coffee. (It is relevant. I promise!) Just as I finished making it he redirected all 10 of us to retreat into the bathroom because 2 of the 3 tornadoes had touched down and were close by. (Kudos to the architectural logistics and layout of the size of that restroom!) While he continued to monitor the updates via his laptop. I nursed my coffee and watched the 9 remain calm because HE remained calm! He stood in front of the door as if making sure that we remained inside. He knew what to do and how to do it!!! Different one's received texts messages from their families and friends while he pointed to the map and described the situation. Soon enough we received the "ALL CLEAR" as far as the eminent threat to us. However; he asked that we remain in the back as HE went out to monitor the front of the office. At that moment we heard a knock at the front door. It was another interviewee coming for her appointment. One of the staff said: "She's hired! Anyone THAT determined to come for their appointment has a PHENOMENAL work ethic!" It broke the tension as we all laughed. The office manager brought her to the back of the office and asked her to stay with us as he returned to assess if we were safe. We all came back outside and picked up were we left off as the wind gusts continued to dash against the glass along with lightning and thunder. He left for a moment back into his office; only to return to announce that we did not need to leave. We could stay as long as we needed to so that the weather could calm down. In this world of negativity and distress it is vital that the heroic nature of the human spirit is applauded and recognized! Please find him and send this to him because even if I am NEVER employed by your staffing company I have been forever touched by this experience!

Typical staffing agency behavior to have people waiting and between filling out paperwork that could have been sent via email or provided a link to complete online .... You'll spend at least an hour. Hope this helps those that catch transit. Share a car. Wall or use other means of transit. Or, have other app and want to make the most efficient use of time. Plan for a 2 hour process.

I came in to do some paperwork and to submit a urine test for my employment today. I live about 20 minutes away. When I entered the office, I talk with the secretary and I asked, can I use the restroom? and then the secretary said "We don't let the public use the restroom", you have to go to the Walgreens, and then come back. I'm puzzled.. In my mind.. I'm thinking, okay, I'm a potential employee and I have to submit a urine test. I also thought to myself, if this is the way this company is ran and if this is, any sign of the way they treat their employees. I don't want any parts of it. So I left...What a shame.. if this company lacks enough, New Employees, to work for this company, this could be the reason. B.M.
