We drive by…read moreon our way home and it's crazy how much traffic is in front of the only entrance and exit to this property!! There is no stop sign or traffic sign so it's extremely dangerous especially when they are so close to so many high designated spots!! I just saw Portofino's profile and they showed their Manager Amanda as being there for 3 years!! My husband and I looked here 2 years ago and they only had a part time 21 year old working who didn't even know what units were available and couldn't show us any units! This property has been sold too many times and property management changes too. You will be in the crossfire and we're just glad we had a relative in real estate and gave us the heads up!!

I have been living here for 3+ years…read more Here are my thoughts: The Management run by Amanda and folks was fantastic. I used to go and chat with her often about random stuff from Crypto to seeing Larry the alligator. Larry ended up having kids and now there's Al the alligator. It's a bit punny. Eventually, Amanda and the crew left only to be replaced by Michelle. She was a bit taxing to work with. Abrasive and she sucked the fun out of here like a leech in the 13th century, which is actually the 1400s. Do you know what else didn't make sense? The fact that she lived on the property and didn't care enough to host fun events with the residents. She treated us like a price tag just like the government. Now in 2023 we have a new Management crew and they are pretty cool so far. We had our first few residential events and they were fun. It was like someone injected life back into this place. People are smiling again and are friendly. The Maintenance crew is also cool. They are there for the residents when we need them most. I am giving this place 4 stars for three reasons: 1. The unit I am in has weird electrical wiring. I have to run an extension cord like it's the Soviet Union in order to run my electronics. 2. The grills are a bit janky. One of em had fire ants and well I ate insects before but I am not about to mix it with fish. Although some cuisines do, but not fire ants. That sounds spicy. I hope they improve that part. One of em had no propane so we had to get our own. It turned into a BYOP party. 3. The dogs shit everywhere. I know dogs shit everywhere but their lazy ass owners don't pick up after em. Seriously if you are going to own a dog at least pick up after it. It's definitely not human shit I grew up in the ghetto so I suppose that's a plus. If you want to live here go for it. Living here is like being on Cheers, everyone knows your name. We're a small community and we like to keep it civil, friendly, and chill.

And it small things which really show that they care beyond just their regular duties. Snacks and coffee is always ready in the morning. Events are always organized for tenants to socialize with each other (one day I'll attend one of those lol). Pool is always clean and all the pool chairs and everything is organized. They are making sure every holiday is met with decoratuons and festive environment! Gym area is clean and smells ok unlike public gyms. The whole staff is very friendly and outgoing. The true diamond is also Carmen who's responsible for housekeeping. She's always on point in the morning making sure you are waking up to spotless amenities, surrounding areas and starting out your day fresh! On top of that she is always smiling and greeting you in the morning which gives a boost to your mood and gives energy! The apartment is owned by Greystar biggest apartment owner in USA so they know how to manage these places professionally. And ofcourse when you deal with tenants/people some people are being inconsiderable and don't pick up after the pet, play music too loud or simply creating inconvenience for other tenants. It's been always addressed by management through either email or in person very fast!!! I lived in apartments where they just brush it off and say "yeah we'll take care of it" and then do nothing. Not here. All my concerns has been addressed the same day and didn't require repeated visits. Love the place and really happy to stay here.

The staff here were nothing but nice to us and responded to our request rapidly. The property is age restricted for long term residents so just passing through for the month is was ok since we are young and have a two year old. They do not have a playground, but the city has a real nice park just up the street and it looks like they have a splash pad for the kids also. The property is huge and has many amenities for its residents. There is a nice lake on property that is inhabited by a young alligator. We only saw her on the bank and she never came close to any of us. The property is going through some renovations and they have added a nice fire pit lake side near the office and they always have wood there to burn. They do not allow fire pits at your camp site so this is a nice alternative. They had a pool which we didn't use, along with shuffle board, horse shoes, mini golf, and planed activities. The people we encountered on the property were nothing but nice. I not sure what the complaints were about them, but many times people stopped by and chatted. I would have to say this is one of the nicest park we have stayed at.

It was on shells rather than pavers. We didn't have a picnic table at our site. I've never been to a camp resort that didn't provide picnic tables at the sites. The pool was being renovated, which was not indicated on their website. We visited during spring break, so this is a terrible time to renovate the pool. The comfort station by our site did not have benches or hooks in the showers for your toiletries. There was construction being done near the entrance, and there weren't any signs providing a detour to get in. The clubhouse seems like it's a cleared out church space, full of tables and nothing else. The traffic in this area is horrible, but it is close to the theme park area. The good: the landscaping that is done is beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A picnic table was brought out after we complained. (I'm just surprised they're not already on the sites. ) The bathrooms are cleaned. The dog park, although small, is a great amenity for dog owners. There are several dog waste stations. They have planned monthly activities. It's doubtful we'll return to this one unless they make significant changes.

The latest instance was during this past week when hurricane Milton was threatening to be the worst hurricane to ever hit Florida. Many residents, including me, were outside preparing their trailers and other property for the storm when Dave rode up to my site on his golf cart and immediately started yelling at me. All Because I was parked on the grass and apparently "it's against the rules" only for me and my family though. His mannerisms were aggressive and he was extremely belligerent. Noticing the aggression from Dave from across the street, a short-term visitor of the park walked over to try to settle things down. Dave immediately turned his aggression toward him, and upon realizing he was not going to be able to bully this person, he immediately got in his golf cart and drove away. This behavior has gone on for months with this manager targeting me with so-called rule violations for things that other tenants are not being held to - so, essentially discrimination coupled with months of harassment. Keep in mind that in this particular instance there was a giant hurricane coming - which ended up causing lots of damage throughout the RV park - and instead of working to prepare the park for it, Dave was out driving around looking for violations and yelling at people. I'd like to add that myself and another spent our time going through the park flipping picnic tables and/or strapping them down to help prepare the park for high winds. If you like getting yelled at and harassed, this RV park is right for you. Me and my family are loved throughout the community and have made friends with just about everyone... and in doing so we have yet to hear anything positive about Dave. Most if not all the residents dislike him and complain about his lack of respect and tendency to "be in charge" We have complained about this manager for months, and so have others. Why haven't you done anything about it? At
