Then, with less than 5k on the odo, a sweet young lady backs into me in the Racetrac parking lot. No one was hurt, just some broken plastic and dented metal, but the truck was still new, so I knew we needed to take it somewhere special. The insurance company sent me to B Imports for the estimate, but I was so impressed by Jennifer and her husband, Brian, we contracted to have them do the repairs. And boy did they have to work for it! The upgrade package included one-off parts supplied by Rocky Ridge, which meant lots of chasing suppliers for parts, having to work around custom fit parts, matching paint colors, and (of course) dealing with an overly anxious consumer of services...namely, me! I had a trip planned for the Fall with my girls; we were taking the new truck to Colorado to visit the Wolf and Wildlife Center. When I say Brian worked overtime to get the truck ready for us, I'm not exaggerating - they were working up to the last possible minute to get it back to me in time for the trip (we really didn't want to take the little rental USAA had provided all the way there, and back, especially considering the amount of snow we encountered!). But they did it! The truck came back a week before the trip, fully restored, beautiful, and ready to roll. Mostly I want to just say thank you for making sure our ride to the wolves was ready despite all of the shipping setbacks on the various custom pieces, you guys really went above and beyond to make sure my new truck stayed new and our trip went off without a hitch...I'd say 55+ hours of driving in 1 week is a pretty sweet testimony to your hard work and dedication to customer satisfaction - 5 stars all the way!

My total ended up being around $7000. It would have been very helpful to have an accurate quote (which could have been managed by them looking into the manufacturer's recommendations regarding that model's transmission before quoting me a lower price). When they had finished the repair, they caught a crack in the transmission housing (which seems to have been the manufacturer's fault). They communicated with me about that very well, and completed the repair with no hassle or extra cost. Their warranty appears solid, and the car runs great!

I am extremely disappointed and alarmed by what happened at GMC legacy in Slidell, La. A former employee of theirs(my ex husband of approximately 7/8 years) was able to purchase a vehicle in my name -including signing all paperwork without my knowledge or consent. I did not authorize this purchase, nor was I present. I have evidence. Despite no longer working there, this individual exploited the dealership's lax identity-verification process to secure a loan under my Social Security number: As a result, I'm facing: - [ ] A fraudulent auto loan on my credit report. - [ ] Emotional distress and hours lost disputing this crime. I have since filed reports with my local police department , DMV, and I met with the owner Mr Adam Bowen(to give his business the opportunity to make it right, however it was unsuccessful) but GMC Legacy must also be held accountable for allowing an ex -staff member to retain document-signing privileges. On July 14, 2026, I brought my Mercedes ML 350 into Briskers Foreign Car Repair shop located at…read more1400 Stumpf Blvd to be diagnosed because the engine light came on. Upon arrival, I met with a gentleman named Raz who assured me he would put my vehicle on a machine to diagnose the problem. A few hours later, I received a call with the diagnosis of misfiring on spark plug #6. I was advised to change all six spark plugs, which I approved and was given a timeframe of approximately 24-48 hours for the job to be completed. At the end of 48 hours I received a call from Raz stating the job was completed but the engine light was still on and the misfiring remained unchanged. For a job that was estimated to be 24-48 hours, it turned into two weeks because Raz and/or his staff lacked the competence to complete the job as identified or just did not do it, so Raz fabricated the problem to be the engine's EUC computer system, wire harness, and oil migration, which did not show any visible signs like engine hard starts, transmission shifting errors, engine stalling, etc. The OBD scanner II did not reference any problem with the engine other than misfiring of spark plug #6. I requested my vehicle be put back together and took it to another certified shop and the work identified by the OBD scanner II was completed within 4-6 hours without any problems. It is obvious Briskers Foreign Car Repair is not qualified to perform work on such high performance and complex vehicles. BEWARE of shops like BRISKERS who advertise as certified in foreign car repairs. You make take your car in for minor work, but leave with thousands of dollars owed due to INCOMPETENCE!!!
