I wouldn't get this again, but there were many other things I wanted to try on the menu.

You pay by the weight. * * * As is the case for any lunch buffet, individual components vary in quality. There are some ultra deluxe buffets where every single dish is a culinary masterpiece. Those buffets tend to have stiff prices. Real life buffets like this one have more variability in the offerings. But there is plenty here to like. Anything they have with eggplant - Italian style or Asian style - should be loaded up on. The eggplant dishes are outstanding. They do a seitan with noodles that is an absolutely superior use of seitan. Pasta with mushrooms cooked in mushroom stock is an earthy delight. Tempura - which often suffers in buffet versions - is just peachy here. Other offerings we were not quite so keen on. But you can see we found more than enough to have a substantial and wonderful meal. P.S. The coffee at the end of the meal is Illy. No complaints from Samuel C. on that one.

Not just an option of removing meat and cheese, but they make their own vegan deli meat and vegan cheese. I ordered a vegan sandwich on whole grain bread, and most all of the veggies he had in the case. Took about 4 minutes to assemble, toast, cut and wrap. 6 euros later, I was on my way. Inside is very small and 2 people were already occupying the only seats, so I ate on a bench just down the street. Wow, this sandwich was so good! The sauteed kale, marinated mushrooms, fresh greens, roasted red peppers and their mock meat came together fantastically. The bread was so soft and not at all chewy. Perfection. It kept me full for hours. I would 10/10 eat this again any day.
