I said absolutely not my baby is not getting that many shots at once. The doctor's overly nice attitude changed up real quick and told me that I would be kicked out of the clinic if I don't get them ALL, so I happily said okay I will take all 4 of my children out of your clinic and find a new dr. She rudely said good luck with finding a new dr I don't know anyone accepting patients. Well guess what.. I found a wonderful new Dr who was shocked they were going to force that many shots on my daughter and lets me pick my own schedule. They are more worried about getting their payout from the insurance company than the safety of your children. If shots aren't on time they don't get their huge payout. Please do your research bc these doctors don't have your children's best interest at heart. I am so happy I spoke up for my baby. I'm glad this happened bc this made me do extensive research on vaccines and I have had my eyes opened. I chose to go with a doctor at this office based off a recommendation from my cousin, who is a DNP. When I walked in, I noticed they have a sick lobby and a well child lobby. I appreciate this separation. The front staff helped me and it wasn't too long before we were in the back. Our pediatrician was very friendly and gave us good information. This is more so a general review than a review about a recent experience…read more 1) Reception The receptionists are nice, but if you have a balance of any kind, just say you know and move on, because I asked one time and they let me know the total -- but they said it loudly enough that the rest of the waiting room could hear it too. Embarrassing to say the least. If you call them, they're nice too, but often they'll hang up immediately after you're done, no time for pleasantries. 2) Nurses The nurses here are and have always been phenomenal. Shoutout to Porsha especially, as she always greets us with a smile and takes great care of my partner and I's daughter. 3) Doctors We've met with a few of the pediatricians here, and our standard pediatrician, Dr. Brian Dudgeon, is the best out of all of them. He was actually my partner's pediatrician when she was born (his first patient) so having that level of connection is amazing. He'll take the time with you to explain what's going on, what he believes will fix it, and proceed cautiously through there. 4) Overall: I would highly recommend Greenvale Pediatrics - Hoover.
