The steps below are for people dropping off asbestos. Hope this helps. ASBESTOS REMOVAL AND DROP OFF Step 1. Get 6 mil bags yellow and clear (DO NOT GET WOVEN FABRIC FROM HOME DEPOT) Step 2. Put the asbestos material in the yellow bag and fold the tail down and duct tape it shut. Step 3. Place the yellow bag inside the clear and fold the tail down and duct tape it shut. Step 4. Anywhere on the bag write your name, address, and phone number. Make sure you write it on the blank spaces. Step 5. Fill out the Asbestos Waste Shipment Report Form. Step 6. Take materials to designated drop off. Step 7. Be ready to pay $100 for every 1000 pound. * *note: they weight you when you come in and when you're leaving. They'll subtract the two and that is what you'll pay. Be sure to get all these steps done so that you're not running around like a mad person due to lack of info.
