    Anti-Relaxation room

If you've only been to small spas in Oklahoma, you'll probably really like this one. I received 4+ services here. While the facilities were clean, they are very modest. I'm sorry, but the spa robes are a complete joke - every woman I saw come through the waiting room was holding their robes closed like it was their job and complaining about how cheap the robes were. They were meager at best, paper thin, and sized for tiny baby elves. Spa robes are usually luxurious, soft and generously sized for everyone so you don't have to worry about flashing others - not these however. Whatever you decide, please do not book several services spanning the day and expect a comfortable, serene, well-outfitted relaxation room to stay in between services. The tiny room is outfitted with 5 hard pleather chairs and zero magazines, blankets, snacks, or privacy. There was only water provided and this room was anything but relaxing. I should know because I got to sit in these terribly uncomfortable chairs for at least 3 hours total staring at the televised motivational quotes while listening to the squealing pipes/metal on the other side of the wall. I'm not trying to be that girl-- but IT's A SPA. People come here to relax. I met 1-2 people that seemed to have enjoyed their service here and saw others that day that looked less than impressed. The ceiling of my facial room had dirty ceiling tiles and a rusty hole/ fire sprinkler (didn't really give a zen feeling). I get it, ceilings are hard to keep clean - especially in rooms where your customers are facing upward the whole time. Lol. Overall, the services I received were good, but nothing to really rave about. The hour long facial included a cleanser, mask, moisturizer - about as basic as you can get. You can definitely get a more thorough facial in Okc, Norman or Edmond. The staff in general was nice, gentle and professional except for the woman who gave my massage. She was extremely rough and kept aggressively turning my head using my pony tail. What in the world? She talked the entire time about her personal life, health problems, her newly gifted fifth wheel, and other delightful things which was anything but relaxing. I was so nervous by her aggressive behavior, heavy breathing and moans, I just needed to get through it and away from her. Usually after massages, you are handed a water bottle and encouraged to drink plenty of water. However, she split so fast and I never saw her again. I cannot begin to describe just how sick I was the next morning- incredibly dizzy and nauseous. Who knows if it was related, but I couldn't help think it wasn't after my experience. Afterward, please don't expect a spacious place to get ready with lots of amenities and a vanity. You'll want to go back to your room instead or really just go home. They have deodorant, hair spray and lotion on a tiny table across from the sinks. That's it. People, it's in Sulphur, OK. I had to keep reminding myself of this the whole day, even though we spent $$$$ here. The hotel itself is nice despite being in the middle of a very small town. The spa would be good for one service if you're local, but wouldn't recommend a package or coming for an entire day of spa services. I'm just trying to be honest and real here. The spa was nice for a small town, but I guess I expected much more after reading their website (and having been to spas around the U.S.)

In the sauna by myself relaxing....
