Mariel handled the project and worked with us for several weeks as we made our own design. She merely advised how we could go about it, and which materials we could use. They had their own graphic designers who could do it for us, but since we had our own concept and our own designer, Primex just did the actual production of the pieces. I only had to provide a page plan and the final prints & layouts, and they were able to work with it to our exact specifications. They were very patient and receptive to comments during our back and forth, from type of paper, (I needed FSC quality paper and they had 'em!) type of cut, texture and finish of the cover, and the colors and hues of the final copy. Mariel was very patient and diligent with going through everything and going back and forth to our office to present samples, give other suggestions, and answer our questions. Mostly, she was very fair with the pricing and even advised on how we could save more and be more efficient with our design. It wasn't just about making money off of the project. Normally, you would think affordable means you would have to sacrifice quality, but there is NO way that VJ7 Printing will deliver a subpar product. I initially contacted their sales representative via email for some price quotes for a project I was working on. He was very helpful in explaining the different types of paper I could print on and the size options that would best fit my budget. After finalizing the design, I sent the finished pdf file to him via email. I don't know how many back and forth emails I sent but the response was always quick! Later on, they were the same printing services who printed my wedding invitations. They looked uh-mazing! The quality was excellent and the colors were so vibrant. What I appreciated is that they sent me proof samples before printing the whole batch just to be sure that there would not be any color matching issues. Also, I love how they involve their clients in their business. When they had the unveiling of their new printers, I was invited to their shop to see how the machines work. They now have paper cutting machine that will slice through reams of paper. They have a die cutting machine and a machine that prints gold and silver ink (super new to me!). Of course, they showed us their professional laser printer. All these new machines meant one thing, better quality prints at a faster turnover rate! Awesome! Talk about great service!
