He was the back up Ortho surgeon at the Queensway Carleton hospital. I questioned as to why he…read moredidn't even look at my left leg. I came in with a broken tibia and completely torn acl. Instead of observing anything, as soon as he realized it was my acl, he decided to hand me his private practice card, wrote in blue ink to contact him in 2 weeks, to wait for swelling to go down. Yea right. As I learned, he doesn't work on the lower extremity parts of bodies in his field, only upper (shoulders, elbows, hands, etc.) and God only knows if he does that correctly! The receptionist explained he does not work on acl repair/replacements at all. So why he got me to return to him, I guess there's only one reason...he wanted my OHIP card money. If you want to have a normal life from an injury, avoid going to him. Learn from my mistake...just avoid the Queensway Carleton hospital all together and you will live longer and happier.

I made an appointment back in the Spring of 2015 at the Kent St location since it's close to my…read morework and I was experiencing foot pain (that I was assuming was plantar fasciitis). I found the person answering the phone (to set up the appointment) to be not very polite nor client-service oriented. It felt like my call was an inconvenience. When I got to the appointment, I found the person there to be also lacking in client service basics. I did most of the talking and asking questions, to which I received not very helpful nor complete answers. He did the assessment using the mat on the floor, showed me the computerized imaging on the screen, then told me about their deal on orthotics. He seemed surprised that I didn't order some right away. I left with a card so I could look at the footwear selection online (Footmaxx). I was not impressed with my experience, but the deal sounded good and I liked the look of the sandals available, so I called back to place an order. The person on the phone could find no record of my 'file' but took down my info and order information to look into it and get back to me and I never heard from them again. :/ NOT impressed and would definitely not recommend them to anyone. I've since taken my business to another clinic that has been super helpful and client service-oriented. I gather this is a fairly competitive market to take advantage of people with benefits coverage for orthotics, so no need to support a company that has such poor client service standards.
