We were immediately impressed with her knowledge of the buying process, her insights into the different properties we looked at, and her candor. Mary put in multiple offers for us and helped us navigate the insane buying market we were faced with. She remained positive and went out of her way to go to Open Houses when we weren't available. But what really sets her apart from the rest was the dedication she had to finding us our home. We went to an Open House while she was out of the country for a wedding, LOVED the home, and Mary went right to work to ensure that we were the buyers they chose. Who else would step out of a reception to Facetime us while we're walking through and then speak to the seller's agent immediately? Since purchasing our home, my husband and I keep commenting that it is exactly what we asked for at the start of our search (and even more that we didn't even think to put on our wish list). We're so grateful to Mary for all her time and effort. Don't hesitate to contact her!

After interviewing other JP relators, I decided to go with BJ because I was impressed with his depth of understanding of the JP market and the sophistication of his reasoning around timing, pricing, and bidding. Throughout the process I was impressed with the team's coordination, especially Beth, the Director of Operations. The listing/sale process was clearly explained and smooth. BJ and team coordinated the staging, smoke detector inspection, three visits by handymen to address last minute items, and the legal aspects with the attorney they work with. BJ was right on with his pricing and I accepted a final offer a few percentage points above our listing price! I give Boston Home Team my strongest endorsement!

We worked primarily with Meredith and BJ (with Meredith leading) and not only are they an absolutely stellar team, they are also the kindest, most fun humans to work with. It made what should have been a super stressful experience actually pretty fun. Before getting to know them, two aspects of their business really stood out to us (we met with multiple agents before choosing Boston Home Team): their incredible listing services - especially the photos/videos they provide (I am especially fussy about this as a full-time professional photographer myself) - and the fact that they come in and spend a good chunk of time working with the homeowner on the staging aspect. This ended up being my favorite part of the experience - working with Meredith to make our home look its absolute best. She has phenomenal taste and also offers additional items to fill gaps where needed. My husband thought it was all a bit silly ... until we closed at over 30% over asking price. ;) What we didn't realize in advance was just how much time and effort they would put into marketing our home. They work their social media hard, and the eventual buyer found our home through Facebook ads (they hadn't even been looking in our town). Their communications throughout were top-notch and I felt comfortable reaching out multiple times with silly questions and thoughts, and they were always so encouraging and enthusiastic in their responses. I cannot recommend them highly enough. We are SO grateful that our realtor friend who is no longer in the Boston area was able to recommend them to us.

Exceptional Real Estate Partner - Phil Delivers Results…read more I've had the pleasure of working with Phil at Park Hou Group through Splice on multiple transactions over the years. Phil helped me purchase a single-family home in Cambridge, buy a townhouse condo in Somerville, and later sell the condo. Each experience exceeded my expectations. Going Above and Beyond from Day One For my Cambridge purchase, Phil's team secured an early showing before the open house, allowing me to submit a competitive offer ahead of the crowd. In Cambridge's cutthroat market, this strategic move made all the difference--I'm confident I wouldn't have gotten the house otherwise. Phil provided an incredibly detailed comparative market analysis (CMA) that gave me the confidence to make a strong but justified offer. Expert Advice That Pays Dividends One of Phil's best recommendations was converting my 2-bed, 1.5-bath home into a 3-bed, 2-bath. This renovation created a versatile home office and guest room, and when I relocated, significantly increased the property's rental value. It's rare to find a realtor who thinks so strategically about long-term value. Unmatched Expertise and Resources Phil's personal experience with rental properties and renovations sets him apart. As a first-time renovator, I had countless questions, and Phil never hesitated to share his knowledge--even well after closing. I later learned he develops properties himself and manages investment properties for other clients, which explains his deep understanding of what to buy, what to avoid, and how to maximize ROI on improvements. A Full-Service Team with Vetted Professionals Phil has built an impressive network of trusted vendors--inspectors, architects, contractors, loan officers, attorneys, photographers, stagers, and more. When he makes a recommendation, I don't waste time researching alternatives because I know they're competent and fairly priced. This network is invaluable and saves tremendous time and stress. Proactive Marketing That Gets Results When selling my condo, Phil convinced me to stage the property (excellent advice) and staffed the open house with multiple team members to ensure every visitor felt attended to. What impressed me most was his follow-through--he personally called every prospective buyer multiple times for feedback and to maintain engagement. Phil doesn't just list properties; he actively sells them. Always Available, Always Professional Throughout every transaction, Phil was accessible via text and phone, answering questions and easing anxieties. His communication style is both professional and reassuring during what can be a stressful process. I've recommended Phil to all my friends because I genuinely believe you won't find a better realtor in the Boston area. His combination of market knowledge, strategic thinking, and exceptional service makes him an invaluable partner in any real estate transaction.

As first time home buyer, there were many things that we didn't know or weren't aware of. Splice educated us on so many different things such as flood zones, tax, and other fees. They made as feel comfortable with every decision and empower every decision with facts. They honesty and fact checking was something we needed. Buying a house is difficult but factors such as the pandemic and inflation doesn't make anything easier. So we highly recommend this group. They really do have your back, have your best interest, make time for any questions you have, and never rush the sale. Thank you, Splice!

I had told Andrea I would not be available that weekend as I had other priorities. She wanted to get ahold of me though so she constantly called my roommates (who I had just listed as a reference on my apartment application, I didn't tell her she could contact them for any other reason) all morning asking them where I am. This was all because she wanted to get a check from me that Saturday and couldn't wait til Monday when I was both available and the banks would be open. I think she may be an addict of some kind based on that behavior. On top of that she was just rude and did not want to lift a finger. I am paying this person thousands of dollars to essentially just be a paperwork middleman, and I told her that I need specific language in my lease saying I can have a dog (the landlord agreed to this verbally so I just wanted it in writing). She just straight up told me she didn't want to do that because it was too much work. I'm sorry I asked you to do a teeny tiny amount of work for your insane paycheck Andrea. I definitely will never be coming to you again!
