I would not recommend their services. I hired Land Mapping to complete property staking. The only documents they provided were ones I could and have obtained from Registry of Deeds. They did not provide any unique "calculations." I have some questions about how the survey was conducted and information that was said to me. A separate survey crew hired by a neighbor came by the day after our property was staked. They used the markers on our property for a neighbor on the other side of our street-- they asked me who did our staking. It's close enough for building flower beds along the property, but I will use a different company in the future for establishing property lines. read more

I wanted to get a plot survey and know really what trees were mine vs a neighbors. I also wanted to build a fence and decided to invest in a survey. I got 3 quotes and pricing consistent working a few hundreds $ and chose Land Mapping Inc. Rafal the owner had been super busy and we eventually got the survey stakes into the ground. He was really detailed and explained challenges in my plot that took extra time after the fact. His presentation and attention to detail during the plot review/survey, see pics with my son, really explains the challenges in my project. This is why he deserves a good review as he is dedicated, detailed, and some projects/plots can have their challenges from actual land to documents previously entered in for deeds. We wanted a current survey of our property so we could replace our fence. We called 3 companies, looked over the estimates and decided to hire Land Mapping. I cannot say enough good things about this company and their employees. They had reasonable pricing ( I got a number of quotes before deciding on them), very responsive, fastest turn around time, accommodating to additional work we wanted done on short notice, extremely professional and went above and beyond my expectations. Kyle was very patient and helpful with the many, many questions I had (I made sure every aspect was covered - they are insured and surveyor is licensed) and always responded to my communications in an extremely timely manner. I don't know how he got three stars, but someone who could provide very detailed information to assist you and help you understand your situation better before you pay, will most likely also provide a great work. Rafal treated me very well in fact when I needed my lot lines plotted out he was honest enough to point out the fact that I had one markers on my land already that were hidden. Not only did he not charge me, he helped by sending images and public documents on what to look for. Truly great experience, when he easily could've came and charged me. The owner of the Land Mapping, named Rafael showed up at our door a Saturday afternoon and without any prior notification was in our property measuring and taking photos. I went outside to speak to him and asked him to pack and go or otherwise will call the authorities. He kept referring and showing my property deed, which he was using to measure neighbor's boundaries. I explained that he broke all protocols, didn't notify us, nor had a license and a work contract to show to us when I asked him. In addition to intruding the property. Rafal was a decent enough guy to work with, and he quoted me for a property stakeout, with the intention that it stand up in court if it came to examination (that was the agreement). After two visits (since he broke his metal detector on the first visit) and about two weeks, he dropped off a folder of plans to go with the stakes that he set at the property line. He was pleasant enough to talk to, and worked well with the nuisance neighbor (who was the primary reason for the surveying in the first place.) Only later did I find out that the plans didn't include elevations (which was true to the quote, he didn't promise elevations), and he's not actually a licensed surveyor! So the plans won't hold up in court, and really aren't worth much more than a cocktail napkin. And when I emailed him back to ask about elevations, he never returned my email. I cant Speak highly enough for the professionalism and speed at which Rafal and the team at Land Mapping Inc. were able to complete my request. Deep into a permitting issue with the city I was informed I would need an instrument survey of my property. Most firms coolly announced it would be a month to six weeks to complete. Land Mapping Inc. was able to get my survey done in a few days and get my permit approved in due order. Cant speak highly enough about them. read more

After working with two Surveyors that could not do the job, Rafal and Land Mapping came to the rescue. A couple of things impressed me, they stayed true to their word and obligations, and were professional through out the course of the job. The amount of work due to some unforeseen issues doubled but the price he quoted remained the same. He also took me on a detailed walk through of all the specifics concerning the survey. You will not regret using Land mapping for your survey needs, I will certainly use them again on my next project. read more
