I'd never rate Solar Dental anything higher than a 1.
You know when you get a bad feeling about a place based on a poor impression they give you? That's exactly the case with Solar Dental. The first sketchy thing was that the "reception" ladies who do nothing, actually literally told me they LOST the paperwork they had me fill out the first day I went. LOL! What a disaster right from the start. So they...told me....not asked me.... To fill out new ones. Ya right, forget that. What other responsibilities do they have besides handling patients' files?
But wait, it doesn't end here.
After I got my tooth filling by the dentist (who was the ONLY understanding person there), I noticed a problem so 5 minutes later I called Solar Dental, told the girl my concern, asked if the dentist was still there, and she took the whole situation personally and started saying with so much attitude that she's not the dentist so she has no idea what I'm talking about and that the dentist left. No intention whatsoever of helping. With anything. Like, why are you there? And there was no confidence in her voice, so I had to call back just to make sure she's for real that the dentist ACTUALLY left as soon as I did cause how big of a coincidence is that? She became defensive, asked "why would I lie to my patients?" Well she sure knows how to piss off her patients. This lady really pushed my buttons but out of respect I didn't even swear at her and all of a sudden she said "this is making me uncomfortable" and hung up. This is NOT how you deal with upset customers. Sounded like she never worked with people in her life.. I mean really!
Next, when I went to the office a day or so later to actually talk to the dentist himself, in PERSON, the receptionists all talked crap.
Good, I'm glad I was the main subject of the conversation!:) People taking things too personally.. Something I always knew not to do on the job but whatever.. Worked with customers from a young age and not everyone's always gonna be 100% satisfied, that's a given.
Next, with the teeth cleaning and fillings I was entitled to free teeth whitening to take home. But had also bought a dental appliance so that had to be ordered and when it came in, I got called.. Same annoying receptionist calls me, says the appliance is in but when I ask nicely "What about the teeth whitening?" She tells me she has no idea about that. But got offended, of course, AGAIN, and began pushing back, LIKE USUAL, just because of a SIMPLE QUESTION. These people don't like simple questions! It was whatever I wasn't in the mood so I just went in to the office in person cause you can't get anywhere with those receptionists or whatever they are. And when they want to schedule your next appointment with you, they ALWAYS pick the date and time for you instead of giving you the option to. Turns out she really didn't know what was going on cause the dentist had the teeth whitening available too. Awkward.. Just like the front desk people..
With this being said, I refuse to deal with "The Solar Dental" staff again cause to me the front desk people aren't knowledgeable at all, but they literally PROVED to me that they aren't. At all. Just be mindful of these things and ask yourself if you'd really want to do business with a company who's staff lose your personal information. Cheers. read more
