The host and hostess were very nice, and worked hard to use their English with us. They served the best tasting port we had in Lisbon, with the best service! Also try their "burger" sandwiches. Delicious! We ended up going back 3 times in our short stay, and eventually asking the hostess for a port tasting. She walked us through some different styles, and steered us away from the bottles that were "too expensive", in favor of her personal favorites. Great personal service, excellent port, and a cozy atmosphere made this a favorite stop on our trip. Highly recommended!

We popped into Botequim Brasil and were so happy they had live Brazillian music! Alas, the port was pretty terrible, and the music quickly became too loud to really enjoy. We ended up getting out of there pretty fast. I'd try it again, if only because I think a better drink would definitely help the situation. Most everyone else there seemed to really be enjoying themselves.
