I wasn't sure how big the meat section was going to be, it is small and quaint but quality meat. There was also a nice selection of teas and coffees with some being local choices. I also saw some local made soap and honey which I love. I love supporting local and small businesses. Even though I purchased nothing last night, I'll be back for another shopping trip. I think this place is probably more ideal for fresh foods for a meal that day rather than a big grocery shop.

The people are plastic at those stores. Quality appears like it has just come off an assembly line of disgruntled employees. I walk into Save Mart and they treat me like they are glad to see me and are very friendly and Helpful. Prices were comparable to the big chains or better. I was very impressed. Prices seemed slightly lower than Albertsons and the variety and quality of meat cuts and fruit and vegetables were wonderful. There were lots of items I was unfamiliar with like the dried Avacado leaves, and some I was delighted to see like freshly roasted green chile in early May. They sell fresh tortillas and a huge variety of dried chile. Service was ok. I asked if they carried olive loaf in the deli and the person I asked didn't know and called a manager who also didn't know. I will definitely be back.

It's nice this organic store is close by and has some hard to find items…read more The only complaint is that they don't train the cashiers to take the next person in line. Many times I will be the next person to be checked out and they take the last person standing in line of 5 or 6 people. I use to cashier in Highschool and this absolutely irks me! I think it's just a fair consideration. Especially when you have arthritis or a hidden disability holding a heavy bag does cause discomfort.
