With friendly folks and a fun health food type spin on most of their products. They do have grab and go lunch/dinner options found near the deli which I appreciated. The kombucha selection was almost overwhelming ans I was excited to try so many different kinds! I'll be back the next time I'm in New Mexico for sure! I think this place is probably more ideal for fresh foods for a meal that day rather than a big grocery shop.

We were greeted at the counter by a young man who helped further by offering samples of their BBQ meats. Service was very good. We ordered 1/2 pound of brisket and 1/2 pound of pulled pork along with many sides including smalls of potato salad, coleslaw, creamed corn, and a large beans. It came with white or wheat bread. Let's get to the meat, brisket was very good, the pulled pork was juicy. Coleslaw was mayo based not vinegar based. The potato salad and creamed corn stole the show. So good! Beans were good too. Inside was large picnic tables and a country store vibe. As always we ask would we go back? "Meh, idk" was Amanda's answer. We may try another location before going back.

The tripitas tasted okay but there was only a mouthful worth of them. Go to Si Senor right down the road. Si Senor isn't much more money and you get a burrito that will fill you up a couple times. I can't eat a whole burrito from Si Senor in one sitting. I feel like I was totally ripped off by Chavira's today. Never again!

Many times I will be the next person to be checked out and they take the last person standing in line of 5 or 6 people. I use to cashier in Highschool and this absolutely irks me! I think it's just a fair consideration. Especially when you have arthritis or a hidden disability holding a heavy bag does cause discomfort.
