She spoke of things my dad was doing in his grief that he hadn't told us. My dad was always a skeptic, so we went and told him what she said and he started crying because it was true. There's no way any of us could have known, let alone a stranger. So he decided to do a group family session. We have always had wonderful experiences and really enjoy being able to communicate with our loved ones. I've also had single sessions with her and they've helped me a lot in my journey. I highly recommend, if you're seeking someone to help you on your life path or to communicate with loved ones who have passed. It's truly been an amazing and eye opening experience for myself and my family.

I feel like she was grasping off of what i said , she was asking who i wanted to connect with , wouldn't my loved ones naturally come through ? I feel she was saying the obvious " smells , lights flickering , feelings of them being there " is them . The " they are proud of you " but nothing personal , nothing that stuck out or made me feel it was real , it was all stuff i could have told myself . Everything else she was saying had no relations to me , felt like she was guessing .. wicked discouraged to try again with someone else , just sad when you have lost someone and try to connect with them through someone you think you can trust and end up with this ..

Kate Granato should not be in practice, don't trust her with the well being of any of your loved…read moreones!!! She is unprofessional and is causing more harm than good. She is the therapist of my daughter caught in an ugly custody battle. She is supposed to be bridging the Gap between truth and lies and helping our family repair and move past and instill a sense of security in both her parents to our daughter, so she can feel good about herself and both parents....instead of an impartial, healing focused approach, she has seen the father and daughter 90% more than mother and daughter. She cancelled two appointments that were 6 weeks apart and then could only reschedule for another 6 weeks for a total of 3 and a half months of not meeting with mother and daughter. And when I, the mother expressed my distress of relationship issues and lack of help, all through TEXTS not personally, she finally met with us and when I asked to speak with her alone, she actually rolled her eyes at me and said,"you have two minutes." I felt so rushed and unimportant and as I expressed that she raised her voice, yelled at me that the conversation was over and then she flat out lied and said I missed an appt and that she only cancelled one, she is taking sides to the point of causing harm. It's a shame that the hypocratic oath to do no harm is not applicable to the mental health professionals. Do not trust this UNprofessional. If you look up the roles of a family therapist you will agree that she not only failed our family but was and is destroying my daughter's need to trust and feel safe with both parents!!!

I was struggling with insomnia during a stressful situation. Gina Twumasi worsened this stress. She confused personal information and treatment about another patient with me. When a medication was unhelpful, Twumasi doubled the dose, and continued doubling it month after month despite it being ineffactive. When my PCP expressed disagreement with medication Twumasi had prescribed me, and offered to collaborate, Twumasi abruptly stopped communicating with no explanation (she obviously didn't want to collaborate). Despite having future appointments in place, Twumasi and her front desk went silent. Psych on Demand lacked the decency and professionalism to respond to any attempts I made to contact. The receptionist Renate was consistently rude and lacked the knowledge and ability to be of any help. The worst part is Twumasi seemed to feel no remorse for the damage she caused and has done nothing to repair the impact of her poor choices.

We worked on childhood experiences that lead to negative ways that I felt about myself, why I made the choices that I did and gave me the ability to forgive and love myself. I really didn't like myself at all and now I can truly say that I love myself. It's amazing. It does take time and some hard work but it's so worth it. I am so grateful for all that Joanna gave me. And although I've "graduated" from therapy, I know I'll meet with Joanna again! I'm strong now but I'm incredibly self aware and I know that if life takes a curve Joanna will be there to help me continue to live my happy life!

I had a pretty negative experience with therapists in my teens and was not eager to try again. However, I felt at ease with Joanna almost immediately. She is warm, direct and very empathetic and non-judgmental. I feel safe to explore whatever is going on with me. She very skillfully guides me to deeper places within myself, and to my own inner strength and resources. It is now very rare for me to get depressed, and if I feel anxious I use one of the many tools I've gotten from Joanna, and it doesn't last long.

Also last thing is I had messaged my APRN recently on my portal about an issue I was having to which she never once responded back to me.
