I have been a patient of Dr. Guerrero for more than 10 years. After seeing a recent message, I felt compelled to share my experience. I see Dr. Guerrero about 3 times a year. She is caring and personable. Indeed, during COVID I was "stranded" in Madagascar for 10 months and quickly ran out of the "designer" meds she had prescribed. I was able to communicate with her via email to ensure that I was doing everything possible to manage the diabetes. She knew who I was immediately and understood my situation (and my fears) she was knowledgeable about ther meds that would be available to me in the 12th poorest country in the world. When I returned home, my A1C was the best it had ever been!! As a long term patient, I have had to update my technology skills to keep pace with the best ways of communicating with the office. Use the portal and on line mechanisms to communicate with her and her office. Give the office staff time to communicate with you and address your issue - and be flexible. On a daily basis, her schedule is always full. However, during your appointment, you receive her full attention. I am thrilled with her care and feel I can be totally self-disclosing even about my sometimes self-destructive habits. read more

I wanted to be a new patient even despite the online reviews talking about the staff here as the Doctors reviews seem great and my referring physician I respect immensely. Just called and got someone on the phone who seemed like I was bothering her. So sorry lol. Go back to eating or whatever you were chomping on while we spoke. Was put on hold and then when they finally returned was told August was the first available. Come on guys. This means you are not accepting new patients. Stop already. This is a ridiculous timeline and would be unacceptable to anyone with a right mind. Stay away from here !!! Far away !!! Nasty experience just trying to schedule. I'll go elsewhere !!! read more

I was very happy with Dr. Guerrero and have been a patient for a few years. This year I am having the worst time getting an appointment with her. She always gives me scripts for two tests to take before my next appointment for the following year. I can never make the appointment ahead of time so this year, every time I called, they say there's no appointment that I need to take the tests so I take the tests at the end of September 2024, I call them and tell them I completed the tests and there are no appointments. I am then put on a waiting list. This is now December 2 and I have not heard from the office at all and I don't know if I'll ever get an appointment with her. Thereby I have taken two tests paid copayments and I can't get the results from Dr. Guerrero nor an appointment and it doesn't look like I'll be getting one this year. This is the worst office management scheduling set up I have ever seen and I find it very insulting that I cannot get an appointment with the doctor that I've seen every year for the last four years. I was very impressed with Dr. Guerrero upon my first meeting with her. I seeked out a new endocrinologist because my former one did nothing to really help me with my Graves disease. All he did was prescribe medicine but never listened to my complaints about feeling unwell. He never even ordered a biopsy to be done for a large nodule I have. Dr. Guerrero takes her time with her patients. She seems to really care about helping them. I feel confident that I can put my trust in her and that is extremely important when choosing a doctor. read more

Dr. Sol Guerrero is an excellent Endocrinologist ... She has great bedside manner; she listened to all the symptomology that my husband and I described to her .... She ordered all of the lab testing and diagnostic testing for my husband in order to ascertain his medical diagnosis! She is an expert clinician with Endocrinology medical diagnoses. I had a roblem with Dr. Guerro at a time of great distress. It was about getting a prescription done properly. When I finally was able to speak to her she said the pharmacy was the problem in getting it to her properly. I do know once that got straightened out she has been very attentive and has done a very good job taking care of me. Others have said there is an issue with her and prescriptions. So if you need a new script call a month in advance so if there is a hitch, there will be time enough to fix it without making you a nervous wreck. Otherwise she has done a good job. read more

Dr. Guerrero was a nice physician but I am fed up with her office staff. No one ever answers the phone. I have left several messages just to make an appointment and no one even called me back! They tell to use the patient portal but no one responds. This situation has happened several times. If you need lab orders sent to you good luck! I waited over two weeks. I went to see her on the 7th my test results are in it's the 18!and she still hasn't called to give me the results .now I don't know if it's her or her staff but this is a very unprofessional matter to treat patients especially new ones.. I booked an appointment with her office through Zocdoc because I wanted my thyroid checked due to multiple symptoms. Her office confirmed my appointment through Zocdoc then while I'm at work they call me and ask me to call them which I do on Friday. The phone rings and rings and went to voicemail. I left a voicemail and do not get a call back at all. I had to call them today in the late afternoon just for them to tell me they are canceling my appointment because I wasn't referred to them by a primary care physician. Then why confirm my appointment in the first place just last week if you're going to cancel? They also did not give me the option to keep my appointment which was for almost two months away if I saw a primary care doctor in the meantime to get the referral. They told me if I saw a primary care to get the referral I would have to call back and reschedule because they were canceling either way even though they book up months in advance.
