On the day of, I was nervous if things were going to fall into place, but Annie, our photographer, shared her location with me and arrived early in just the spot I wanted. She was also wonderful to work with--her photography and editing skills are great and even though we never really posed for photos before, she made it easy for us. She even had the presence of mind to turn us away from family members who were coming from behind to surprise us. After coming across their photos when researching different potential photographers that had experience at our venue, we were very interested in meeting them. We had an initial video call with them and knew immediately that we wanted to book them for such a critical part of our wedding journey. There aren't enough words to describe how skilled and professional they are--they are amazing photographers (individually and as a duo) and clearly love what they do. Our proposal photoshoot was the only prior experience we had in terms of taking professional photos as a couple. We met them in person for the first time at our engagement photoshoot--they immediately made us feel comfortable and were seriously thoughtful about the entire process, whether it was the location choices, minute-by-minute weather changes/forecast, outfit changes, etc. It really feels like they plan for everything and care about the little details. When we asked them about another vendor they would potentially work with on the day of our wedding, they even referenced notes they made when they had worked with them for a prior wedding. Throughout the whole process, they were prompt communicators (frequently responding to an email within minutes!) and guided us with experience and patience that we really appreciated. Whenever we had something to discuss with them (including choices we needed to make as a couple), they never hesitated to give us suggestions and feedback. Even if they offered an alternative suggestion to an idea of ours, it always felt like they genuinely cared and they wanted what we wanted, and it never felt like criticism. We received our wedding photos just about 2 months after our wedding, and we love every single one of them (all 667)! They are truly the best photographers to work with and just lovely people to be around. Colin and I fell in absolute love when we stumbled upon Jacob's instagram page - something just drew us in and we knew we had to have him take our photos for our big day. we sent him an inquiry 2 years ago in december 2024 and from the start, the vibes and energy from the initial touch point made us confident in our decision. the initial convo we had with Jacob - I remember him asking what we were and weren't comfortable with in terms of physical touch, which he kept noted down for our engagement shoot session in march 2025. he took so many beautiful photos at Filoli and made sure to capture the raw moments of laughter and happiness. can we also please give him an extra shoutout for helping a father with guiding them to seek help when their baby was choking?! that definitely stood out to Colin & I! before our big day, we met for our final meeting and went through the timeline as to what to expect. on the big day, there was a few changes (100% my fault!) and Jacob was flexible and adaptable. we had a second shooter, Angel, who joined us on this day as well! we were so surprised to receive a sneak peek link less than 24 hours from when the event ended. the 50 sneak peek photos were breathtaking beautiful. each shot allowed us to relive the moment and also bring back all the emotions that we felt that day. till this day, looking back at all these photos still does just that and it's been two weeks. a photo should retell a story but these photos do more than that - all the photos are romantic and captures the emotions of joy. pure happiness and most importantly love. we highly recommend choosing Jacob to capture any big moments in your life, you won't regret it.

He was so easy going and chill to work with the entire time. When we first met with him, we planned to do a 50 person local wedding, BUT our plans changed to a 130+ person wedding nearly 2 hours away almost the day after we met with him lol. Jacob was so down for the change and was excited for what we had planned. Jacob and his partner, Jacqy did our engagement shoot and our wedding. They were phenomenal. During the engagement shoot, they made us feel so comfortable. We were so worried as we felt we weren't very photogenic. They were able to ease our nerves and made it such a fun experience! For the engagement photos, this was back in November 2023. She was already there when we arrived. Zach and I both felt so awkward and nervous since this was our first photo shoot, but Anna worked her magic and did her best to help us relax for the entire session. She's also a dog person so I was overjoyed that our dog was able to join us in these photos. After we saw the amazing engagement photos, I knew I had to secure her for our wedding day. Her response time is great as well; she will let you know when she is out of town and how long/when to expect a response from her. Our wedding was in mid-July 2024. Anna was there early again to scope out the wedding venue and checked in with both Zach and I the entire event. When I was having trouble walking in my dress, she was quick on her feet to help me. We had a long list of photos we wanted with family and she was able to organize everyone in a timely fashion.
