I was contacted by Software Galaxy Systems by phone and email. The caller Shubban Salvi asked me several questions but when I fell uncomfortable was when he asked ne if my computer had a camera for an interview for the job. I told him I worked as a customer service representative for 15 years and worked remote but we never comunicated with my supervisor or manager via camera. That giving access to my camera makes me uncomfortable. For that we have Microsoft Teams. I read the reviews when I became suspicious of this being a scam. Beware. SGS Consulting are scammers. Like others, I was called incessantly before starting work and even during my first 2 weeks DURING work hours. I've had SEVERAL individuals call or text me stating that they were from onboarding with SGS, and needed to confirm me banking information. I stated that I don't give out that info via phone or email, only through a secure portal. I reported this to Shewta, who then stated I should only talk to her. These calls and texts still continue and I've been employed since 1/25. And have repeatedly asked them to stop. My tax withholdings were incorrect so I called to try to figure out why they did not match the form I submitted. They make themselves seem legit by having you fill out paperwork on an ADP portal... apparently THEY HAVE NO ACCESS TO SAID PORTAL. Any corrections you want to make has to be done by paper and sent via unsecured email. I've asked SEVERAL times to speak with management and am told initially there is none, and then they were unable to provide me the information. No one can understand what I'm saying half the time, as if they're struggling with English. Also please be aware of the $$ they make per hour you work..... slavery is over. Someone in management SGS needs to contact me ASAP or I will be contacting the proper authorities. read more

As mentioned in another review, I got an email out of the blue. However, those of you who, like me, are perpetually seeking escape from your current employment prison, are probably well aware that there are several (!) online employment search sites on which you can compile a profile and have your resume throw to the winds. I've had calls from a number of these international staffing services, and have in fact landed interviews. Wasn't hired, but I'm pretty sure that's more I me. At any rate, SGS recently contacted me about a "low wage" job, and it turns out the job is the same one I interviewed for four months ago, through a different international all-stars seeking outfit. (OK, I'm not an international all-star, but I could be. Somebody's got to do it. I just need some skills, some looks, or the ability to look like I've got some skills.) Again, at any rate (aaar - for the socially saavy) it appears this is a legit company. Maybe. To be continued. Don't think the company here would interview me twice. But this has happened with another position listed with a major company in my city. I'm thinking the job s**ks, or the management/supervisor. Something probably stinks about the job. But who knows. Give it a try. BTY, I recently worked with FirstSource, which is another international staffing service, so don't be put off by people speaking with a British/Indian accent that you can't understand. I was contacted by someone named Vishal Kumar regarding a call center position. He sent me an email at 4:58pm and called me about 10 minutes later in broken English asking me if I had received it and read it, which I found bizarre. 2 days later I was contacted by someone else about the same position, and said I was interested. The next day, Vishal called me again and said the same thing as the last guy. Do they really not communicate with each other about prospects? I had set up an interview specifically for Monday at 12:00pm. Vishal instead calls me at 9:45am trying to conduct the interview. I tell him I am at work and that if he cannot call me at the scheduled time (my lunch break) then to call me after 5 when I'm off work. He proceeds to call me at 4:45 and is somehow surprised when I tell him I'm still at work. He asks me about a "right to represent" and for the last 4 of my SSN, and continually bombards me with questions despite my telling him that I'm still at work. The next day, he proceeds to call me every 45 minutes from 9:00am to 8:00pm, without leaving a message any of those times, despite the fact that I have told him twice what my work hours are. Eventually I just told them that I am not interested. This is a very unprofessional way to obtain prospects, and makes me wonder about the quality of the position and accuracy of the information with which I was provided. read more

I got an email out of nowhere about a position near me. When I went to investigate the website to figure out if this was legit, there was no website. Don't give them any info because they will ask for the last four of your social security number and will act like they're submitting you for a job you won't hear back about. read more

Scam!! They're looking for your information. NEVER give out any of your personal data, SS # , bank info, birthday etc. That's AFTER you are hired and in writing. There are many scammed looking for folks who want online work. BEWARE!! read more

This business brands itself as "SGS Consulting" and when I went on their website I discovered that the full name is Software Galaxy Systems. This is the headquarters of the business which has 7 more locations in the USA and, of course, 2 in India. Shweta Dighe and Biruntha Muthusamy, try to pronounce their names, contacted me for a job in 2 days, one after the other. I don't understand this practice of working in parallel which is a waste of resources from the agency side and a waste of time from the job seeker side. As far as I can see it's just a lazy business model/approach that deserves no more than 1 star on Yelp. read more

I started with "SGS Consulting" on 09/27/2021 I was terminated due to the client they paired me with due to their lack of On 10/21/2021 and they pay period is is every week today is supposed to be the day I get my final check because the client seems to have decided to stand by their error to end my assignment. To no avail i did not receive my final check 10/29/2021 I've tried reaching out to every number possible utilizing every extension possible and I've emailed the HR department and still no response. This is crazy people have bills to pay I don't work for free. I rendered services that I was not compensated for it in no way shape or form. I'll never work for this company again. read more

I realize things happen, but at the last possible minute, REALLY!!!!??? They contacted me about a job at my old company that I had previously quit doing something totally different, I interviewedand got the position supposedly starting on the 21st of October. Mind you I was on an assignment with another agency so I gave them notice my last day would be the 18th.  I get an email from them 20 minutes before I'm done with my current assignment saying oh well the company changed the start date to the 28th.  I'm super pissed now that I'm a week without work due to everyone's lack of communication and consideration and they did not care one bit. Everything was fine until that point, it's really left a bad taste in my mouth. I still have not heard anything from the agency, I don't expect to. I'm still looking for work and now I'm behind again and on bills and I'm not happy. Yes, I did call and give them a piece of my mind and they had absolutely nothing to say. Not sure I'll ever work with another out of state agency again. read more
