I went for an interview and they had nothing but entry level jobs. You're better off going to a larger agency.

The gentleman who spoke with me was very critical and unfriendly. I wouldn't use them for a recruiter.

Phenomenal team. I…read morecannot speak highly enough about my experience with the staff at this location. After receiving a notice from unemployment that I needed to attend a mandatory session via PA Career Link, I called their office to see if I could get the meeting scheduled ASAP. The automated phone system didn't get me through to an actual person, so I decided to get in my car and make the hour drive to see if they could help. I honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but the moment I walked in I was greeted by a really nice guy named STEVE, who works security, and he told me that someone would be able to help me get everything situated. That's when I spoke to a woman named KELLY at the front desk who was extremely kind. She told me they would help me figure out what I needed to do, brought me back to their computer room, and asked me to hang tight while they found someone to help me. A man named JASON came out, sat down with me, and listened intently to understand my questions. He gave me the best answers he could. JASON was able to get me an appointment scheduled and explained that while they are not unemployment, they would have people from unemployment in the office the next day--but all of those appointments were already booked. I went home feeling much better. The next day, I called unemployment to see if I had addressed all the necessary requirements to remain compliant. After being on hold for nearly two hours, I spoke to someone who was less than pleasant and overall unhelpful, dismissing my questions as redundant. The unemployment representative told me I could potentially be losing all my benefits and had no updates or solutions on their end. Since I had such a positive experience at PA Career Link the day before, I decided it was worth taking the drive again to see if they would allow me to wait in their lobby and possibly meet with someone from unemployment if they had time. The moment I walked in, STEVE and KELLY were all smiles, asking if I had been able to get any response from unemployment. KELLY & JASON immediately told me they had already spoken with the unemployment reps in the office that day and discussed the specific issues I was dealing with to try to get me answers. I DID NOT ASK THEM TO DO THIS. Not only did they help me get to where I needed to be, but they gave me real answers that I couldn't get anywhere else and truly bent over backwards to get those answers. They had no reason to go this far above and beyond for me, but they did it anyway. JASON, KELLY, and STEVE made me feel like my concerns mattered and that they genuinely wanted to help me in any way they could. Bear in mind, I do not write reviews--but this experience was so positive that I felt compelled to. It isn't easy looking for a job and navigating the unemployment process, but the team at PA Career Link made me feel like I wasn't just another number in the system. These were REAL people who actually CARED about their jobs and the community they serve. By the next day, I could see everything was in order on my end, and my stress completely dissipated. The team at PA Career Link are truly great people who not only do their jobs well, but do so with a level of attention and care that I have never experienced before. Great people and a great team. PA Career Link is lucky to have them, and I hope they see this message and know how much everything they did meant to me. THANK YOU JASON, KELLY, and STEVE! The world needs more people like you, and I will never forget not just how you helped me, but how you made me feel.
