The whole store is bright,clean and laid out in such a way that makes everything easy to find. I love all the signage and the fact that boxes are within easy reach so there is no straining to try and get at things above your head or standing around waiting for staff to pull things down for you. There are dozens of beautiful styles to look at and great brands including Skechers,Betsey Johnson,Naturalizer,and Columbia. The prices are extremely reasonable for the quality as well and there are also deeper discounts to be had in the clearance section. They also stock a selection of jewelery and highly fashionable purses at the front of the store. The staff I ran into all seemed friendly and there are lots at the registers and also wandering the floor to help you out. This place is definitely a true gem in this small community mall and absolutely worth checking out if you happen to be shopping in Sherwood Park.

Admittedly it looks a bit retro inside but the staff were fairly nice and they obscure part of the doorway so people walking past are less likely to stop and oggle you if your standing infront of the mirror getting measured for hemming. I am sure this is greatly appreciated by self conscious folks. In terms of prices here I found what they charged me to a be a bit shocking. I was charged $21.00 for a rip about the length of my pinkie that probably took them all of five minutes to take care of. Part of this price however comes from the 25% markup they include if you ask for a rush job. Normally I would be understanding of such a policy but it rubbed me the wrong way here in two different ways. First off when I initially brought the coat in the lady came around the counter and stood infront of the sign they have on the wall that explains the markup and how much it is. Secondly I felt that things were phrased to me in a deceiving way. When I was asked about when I needed my coat back by I was asked "did you need this today or can you come back tomorrow?" Nowhere in there was it mentioned about the surcharge on rush work and as a first time customer of this business how was I too know? Another weird thing worth mentioning is how the lady who rang me up didn't really want to take my debit card but when I told her I had no cash or credit she begrudgingly agreed to attempt to use it. I guess their machine has an issue with reading debit cards but why on earth would you not call and attempt to get someone in to look at it or swap out your terminal for a new one? Finally in terms of the actual job they did it was good. The stitch is strong and they color matched the forest green of my jacket exactly. Was it worth the $21.00? I don't know that I can say yes. They are conveniently located in the mall however and the people running it are very nice so if your like me where it's a rarely needed service it could be worth it to throw a few extra dollars towards nice folks running a small locally owned business.

Linda, the owner, is particular about what she accepts. It shows in the stock she carries. Second, the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Linda is helpful in finding certain brands. I've walked in and asked her for more of one brand and she walks around the store and knows where each piece of that brand is. How does she do that, I wonder? (Hmmm). Third, the prices are affordable and about the same you'd pay if you went to a mall and bought non-designer clothing. Here you get premium clothing at mall prices. Finally, every dollar I spend here feels like I'm doing something good for the planet and good for my community. I'm recycling and I'm putting money into local business. What I'm not doing is unknowingly supporting unethical clothing manufacturing in remote areas. Sometimes, I stop in here to browse but each time I've gone here with a specific goal in mind (ie. buy a new outfit and purse) I find just the clothes and accessories I'm seeking, always a great find.

They offer free gait analysis and recommend the best shoes for you. They carry all the shoe brands, apparel and other accessories. Finding a staff member on the floor is impossible. My wife was looking for a certain size of jeans and you would think when a staff member sees you digging through shelves, it's time to ask us if we need assistance. Not the case. We looked around to see if someone was near by. Nope. Lastly, even though the store is the same layout there are flaws. There's a hidden area in the kids dept that goes nowhere. I'm confused by that choice. The selection right now is bleak but I suspect once the store gets humming and they have some metrics the stock will increase. The store was kind of messy, perhaps it was because it was a weekend. I also found it difficult to find what items were actually on sale. There was a rack of pants that said 50% off. I grabbed a pair and set out to double check the price. I found someone and she asked where I had found it. She said only the marked pants were on sale. I went through the 17 pairs of pants and found 3 that were on sale. I was finally able to find a pair of pants on sale and also picked up 2 tank tops. Not in a hurry to go back.
