For starters, it was during the electionand he went off on conspiracy theories and voter fraud when I couldn't respond nor had I even started a political conversation. It was kind of weird and socially inappropriate. On one occasion when I came for my appointment, he was taking a little snooze behind the front desk person. I found that very unprofessional. Why not go into a private office for a rest instead of making us feel worried that you are sleeping on the job in between patients? But I ignored all that because the Groupon was a good deal and I thought I was getting good care. A few years later and I have had multiple dentists x ray and tell me how badly done my implant and my crown are. The crown had an overhang that was causing gum recession. The implant is not in straight, not well seated, and smells like decay by the end of almost every day. I have to floss super well every night or it gets worse. The crown recently came off and there is decay underneath so I'm glad that it came off and I'm having a vetted and trusted, albeit more expensive, dentist redo the crown and do it right this time.

We later discovered this was not a normal membership at all, but a third-party financing arrangement disguised as one. What makes this even more absurd is that we have memberships with several other local businesses for services like spray tans and IV therapy and have never once been pushed into financing through a third-party company just to receive basic cosmetic services. Even better, the card attached to the payment plan was apparently immediately "deactivated" by the finance company, confirmed via text, yet somehow there was still little to no effort made to contact the actual cardholder before allowing the account to become delinquent and negatively impact credit. When I attempted to resolve the issue and simply cancel the membership, the response from the membership department was robotic, dismissive, and completely devoid of any accountability or customer care. After nearly a decade of business with this company, their position was essentially: "Too bad." After reading through other reviews, it's obvious this is not an isolated experience. The number of complaints involving misleading memberships, billing problems, and refusal to work with customers is alarming. At this point, I would strongly caution anyone considering a service or membership here to read every line carefully, ask direct questions about third-party financing, and understand exactly what you are signing before handing over your card information.
