My son enjoyed going there. He started soccer with them when he was 2yrs old and played until he was 6years old. We loved it.

Both of my kids joined a league here this fall for the first time, after having done various rec leagues elsewhere.

Beautiful athletic complex with tennis courts, soccer, football, and lacrosse fields and a…read moremulti-purpose stadium with lighting for night games. The parking lot includes a pair of basketball hoops as well. LED lighting along the path leading to the stadium and aesthetic landscaping throughout. The artificial turf in the stadium includes synthetic "dirt" and "sand". The stadium also includes a patio on the upper level with a dozen or so umbrella tables. Restrooms include changing stations and plenty of stalls. Overall, a great location for multiple sports.

However, the stadium is quaint, new, and clean. The absolute best part for me was the shaded seating and ceiling fans. For those sun enthusiasts, there is a tiny section left unshaded. They have a big screen that introduces all the home players, AstroTurf grass, wooden bats, and the stadium is well lit when the sun goes down. The mascot Sal the Salamander is a delight; great with the kids and fun to watch. Concessions are adequate for the size of the clientele and they offer the basics of hot dogs, beer, ice cream, and more. The parking was convenient. The lot was large and a short distance from the stadium. If you are in the mood for smaller crowds and a hometown baseball feel, north main athletic complex is a fantastic choice.

Nope, we've just received word that lightening is still within three miles of the stadium; please exit the bleachers!). The game that should have begun at 7pm was delayed till 8:30. But then we played ball! (Is that slogan only used with baseball?) It was a vs Miami game and I was pretty impressed by the speed and skill demonstrated by both teams. With a dad who still plays the sport at age 54 and a brother who left the womb in cleats, I've seen my fair share of games. Though I ended up leaving at halftime (I'd spent 4 hours at the field!), I would have no trouble watching a full game here and not getting bored. I might leave a separate review for the facility; but for those reading this one, note that parking is $5; beers (mostly bud and miller) are $4. There are individual seats on the bleachers that cradle your bum. And there's a grill offering cheesy nachos and basic ballpark food.

Going to games is always a fun time, there is really no bad seat in the place. I always enjoy going to the game and sipping on a Lonerider beer (beers are $7). Check out the website to see what is going on during matchday because they have some pretty neat events.
