I was pretty disappointed because I was getting my hair done for a special occasion. She pivoted and gave me two options: she could give me a nice cut and teach me how to style my hair, or we could try a cold wave perm. After she showed me a few pictures of a cold wave perm on middle length hair, I chose the perm. Steven washed, cut, and permed my hair.
