Came here on a whim after Bloodwood was booked out and experienced one of the best meals I have ever had. European style cooking meaning everything is cooked in butter and so is VERY rich.
All the food is prepared fresh and that's what you can really taste. The duck tortellini was out of control good, the fresh pasta really putting it into the culinary stratosphere.
I could go on about the food but fundamentally it's all going to be great.
Service was impeccable as well, really lovely staff. My vegan was catered for with her own specially prepared dishes at short notice. Usually she's told she can have a salad, but they prepared an entire 3 course menu for her, including a divine mushroom soup, a risotto and sorbet.
They mentioned that with more notice, they could prepare 'something proper' for her.
It's at the expensive end of dining but they have a special at the moment of $60 for 3 courses ($80 with wine) or $80 for 5 courses ($100 with wine).
Totally worth it if you're looking for a fancy night out. read more
