I think about food, ingredients and spices a lot and when I travel, I like to experience and take a little something home as a souvenir. So I came to John Lewis & Partners after a friend recommended the grocery portion as a good place to find spices. I've traveled to several countries and states where I pick up spices to use in my recipes, this means a lot more to me than some novelty t-shirt or magnet. I purchased a wide selection of spices, some which I have never tried using before. As you can see in my picture, I got quite the haul and paid around $30 euros for it all. Compared to the prices I would have paid back home, I feel that I got a great deal at John Lewis & Partners.

I was new to them at Solihull but approached by a man i now believe was head of security. He took control as the shop was shutting demand a further £200 when i can only assume my autism and unsteady state while i was suffering a minor stroke had him see an opportunity to steal. The shop was in darkness the cashier at a distance and stated events were manufactured. I was still clear in my head but unable to respond and the salesman is said to have been on holiday over 8 weeks. The head of security of that floor seemed familiar but the video would prove it weas him. JOHN LEWIS refused to show me the video or a copy but the video would show my state of health having to sit while i was being robbed. The police were offered as an alternative knowing they cannot interfere in a civil case further confirming the abuse is a regular occurrence on these premises. Today I spent ages dealing with rubbish companies that sell crap or send you the wrong thing and…read morethen make it difficult to sort out the problem, so I thought I should talk about my experience with this one to feel better about life. I visited the shop in march to buy a Wallbed. James was very helpful and informative even though I was 20 minutes late and he had someone else to see. Although he showed me a variety of things and possibilities, he didn't try to oversell. In the end, due to contract issues, I couldn't order my bed until october, but he was helpful and remembered who I was, so I didn't have to start from scratch. 2 lovely men came to build the bed, they were helpful, friendly and polite. They did a great job. My bed is fantastic! While I waited for it to arrive, I regretted spending so much money on it, but once I got it, all my regrets were gone. I bought the comfort bed in king size with the shelves at the back and the lamps. The lamps are actually much better than the ones in the catalogue. The first day, I lay on it for 5 minutes and woke up 12 hours later. Another plus I didn't know about, you can move the sofa if you like, so you can use both at the same time if necessary. The quality is excellent, it's very easy to use. Some people ask me if it isn't too much work to close the bed every day, but it doesn't take more time than it would to make a normal bed nicely. (it doesn't have to look perfect as you close it) I chose a firm mattress, but there are other options. I don't know about those, but my mattress is fantastic. I have never before slept more than five hours a night, and usually I would wake up in the middle, but no more!! I sleep eight hours at least a day, I was late for work the first week I had it. The sofa is very comfortable too. I love my bed so much that I will put this review everywhere! Thanks to everyone at the London Wallbed Company

Fantastic! I live in reasonably sized, but not huge two bed flat in Hove, I have a spare bedroom…read morewhich is big enough for a double bed, but not for wardrobes and desks as well, my master bedroom is a good size, but gets overwhelmed if filled with clothes, books and other paraphernalia. I needed to clear my two bedrooms of clutter, and make the spare room useable. I had a brainwave, what about a Murphy bed? I did some internet searching and came up with The London Wall Bed Company. After a brief email and telephone exchange, I went to their showroom in Acton where I met with James. We had a chat during which he skillfully, quickly and efficiently got an idea of my needs and showed me a range of products that would suit them. I left once we'd agreed on the right product which took around an hour, maybe less. Within 24 hours, I had received by email two estimates one for a fold down bed with wardrobes and one without as well as sketches based on the measurements I'd come up with. I thought I might try and reduce the cost by buying ready made wardrobes, but I decided that it would look better and be less hassle if I went for the version with wardrobes. I paid a deposit and arranged for James to come down to Brighton and take actual measurements of the room. The order went in and my wall bed was delivered and fitted about six weeks later. I now have a spare room which I can use as a dressing room, a wardrobe and an office (there's a fold down desk attached to the bed which I can use when the bed's not in use). In fact, what I do is give up my main bedroom when people come to stay and sleep in the Murphy bed myself, it's like being a kid again and means I keep all my stuff in the back bedroom and bathroom and I don't have to keep it too clean and tidy! I now have room for a sofa in my main bedroom which feels very luxurious because before it was full of clothes storage! I love service I got, I love the wardrobes, and I love the bed, I also love the fact that my flat feels bigger and less cluttered. James understood my needs, he wasn't in the slightest bit pushy and he got the job done in the agreed time frame for the agreed price. This is a perfect solution to a problem I've had for 15 years.

Harrod's also features a afternoon tea in The Georgian and it costs about $96.00 US dollars per person. We were here many years ago but I still remember the experience. It was very busy inside and we walked around for a couple of hours just looking and taking in all the beautiful products that were for sale. The architecture of the store is a stunning. We bought some souvenirs, and I also bought a purse and wallet while visiting. We loved taking pics with the life size Harrod bears. I had never been in such a majestic and exquisite store seeing so many luxury items. This store is definitely geared towards the elite and uber rich but we still managed to have a really good time. Service was ample although most of the employees we encountered were very busy hustling to locate items for anxious shoppers. A must visit while you are in London, just don't drop all your cash here.

We have plenty of these back in the states but I had never been to one before, so It's pretty exciting for to me to say that my first dry bar experience was in Harrods in London! I tend to stay away from blow-dry places because not everyone can blow-dry thick curly hair. Kezia was the stylist and she was great!! She was so funny, paid close attention to detail, and this was one of the best blow-drys I have ever gotten! Next, we stopped at Burberry. She was wonderful, poise, and so knowledgeable about the brand. My husband loves his wallet. We then stopped at Louis Vuitton for a perfume. No one attended to us and it felt like they were judging us based on how we looked. Five employees walked right past us and not a single one acknowledged us. Finally someone did and when we asked her what the notes in the perfume were she googled it on her phone. Our shopping day wasn't complete without buying some sweets from the chocolate hall. Every type of chocolate you can think of is sold here and delicious taste!
