My goal is to check out and find great sushi and this place nailed it!…read more I ordered the Hawaii Roll and the Miyazaki Roll. The Hawaii Roll is raw with tuna, salmon, shrimp tempura, crunch, avocado, and mango and it is wrapped in soy paper and topped with spicy mayo and wasabi sauce. This was $18.50. I've never had mango in a sushi roll and this was fantastic! I wasn't sure about it at first but the variety of fish and the crunch with the sweetness of the mayo and the sauces was pure perfection! The Miyazaki Roll is smoked salmon, krab meat, and cream cheese. It is deep fried and topped with eel sauce. This was $10.95. Loved this! It was not overly breaded and definitely not oily. So good!! My meal also came with a choice of soup or salad. Naturally I picked the miso soup, which was great! They had a lot of options and variety! It was hard to pick the 2 rolls I did because several sounded great! Service was excellent! Staff were so attentive and friendly! Would definitely recommend and come back!

They were super helpful when I arrived and asked if I wanted any sauces before I left. I ordered two sushi rolls, the shumai, and chicken hibachi dinner. The shumai were delicious and flavorful and were devoured in one sitting. The spicy Manhattan roll was good but very large so difficult to eat in one bite. Very good with eel sauce. The rainbow roll was also good. Seemed fresh. Clear soup was flavorful. The salad was a bit disappointing. Looks like just lettuce, sliced cucumber, and dressing. I have not tried the dressing yet as I was too full. I am saving the chicken hibachi dinner for day 2 but did have a bite of everything. Did not seem overly flavorful so I will be adding some soy sauce to it when eaten. Might also add some veggies or something to the fried rice. Just very plain. Overall it was good and I appreciated being able to order to go and eat at home.

They offer 3-4 pages of items you can order from apps to sashimi, hand rolls, regular and specialty roll, noodles and ramen. All are included in the all you can eat price. There is a 90 minute table limit, but that is an enough time to enjoy. There was something for everyone at our table and we are until we couldn't anymore, all within the 90 minutes. Just be careful that you don't over order because any excess is weighed and a percentage if payment is required to avoid unnecessary waste. When I go back to Tampa, I will be stopping here everytime because it is the best bang for your buck and fun to share plates with friends and/or family. Go hungry, leave happy!!! It's no frills kind of place with great music playing, but also pretty casual clothing. They offer specials on certain days and on some drinks but we opted for water to better enjoy the food. There is a regular menu if you choose not to do the all you can eat.

The Tampa China Buffet is a large, all-you-can-eat Asian buffet in Tampa off Fowler Avenue by USF…read morearea. It has a wide variety of tasty Chinese food, lots of different types of sushi, and lots of different seafood options, including unlimited crab legs at dinner. Cuisine: Chinese, Fresh Sushi, Seafood (including crab legs, oysters, mussels), American, and a large dessert selection. There were 5 different kinds of shrimp and 6 different kinds of chicken that were all pretty good. Specials: Unlimited crab legs are a dinner only special. Atmosphere: Tampa China Buffet was recently renovated with a modern futuristic interior with lots of LEDs, modern gray tile floors, and modern white marble style tile on the walls that looks very nice. Service: Service staff was friendly taking drink orders and refreshing buffet foods in a timely manner. The buffet is self serve so not much service is required. Pricing has gone up and is now $17 for lunch and $23 for dinner. However, this seems to be the going rate for most buffets now and the large selection of fresh sushi alone is worth that if you're hungry. Only one third of the foods had labels so you didn't know what you were eating unless you asked someone which is especially unhelpful for the sushi. I hope management can add labels for all the foods soon. That's an easy thing to fix. There was no hibachi which was a little disappointing. There were not a lot of dessert options beyond fruit. The cheesecake was not traditional but half bread half cheese so not true traditional cheesecake and bland with no fruit topping as is typical with cheesecake. The chocolate cake had no label and turned out to be kinda a coffee flavor. The Asian plumbs had a good different flavor. If you're in the USF North Tampa area, craving Chinese, Sushi, or Seafood, and are very hungry, definitely check out Tampa China Buffet! If you're looking for a better deal with Hibachi and sushi, Asian Buffet off Bruce B Downs in Wesley Chapel area has a lunch buffet which is only $11.

Service: 4/5 Our waitress was very nice and attentive, and she even gave us some local recommendations to check out. The hostess could be a bit friendlier when seating guests. Ambiance: 3/5 The restaurant has a large seating area with decent spacing between tables. One downside was the serving tongs at the buffet--they looked dirtier than expected. Replacing them more frequently, maybe every 30 minutes, would make a big difference.

I walked in and the store was nearly empty, with only one customer ahead of me who was also a first-time customer just like me and was asking the guy questions about their sauces and etc. After a couple minutes of me waiting, another couple walked in behind me and that's when a woman came out of the kitchen to help with the line. Despite there barely being customers, the woman rushed through the interaction and was rushing me. When I wanted to ask questions (y'know to make sure I make a bowl that's actually edible), she had an attitude as if I was a bother. Any word I spoke was met with "what else. what else. what else." I was genuinely confused because obviously business is slow if they have to give a deal for a free can of soda if someone orders a bowl after 5pm. You need customers. Just from the way she handled me, it made me uncomfortable and no longer interested in trying out anything they had to offer. I ended up leaving without anything from there and went a little further down to "The Dough Show" for my lunch break and the service (and food) was excellent.
