This is the Middleburg Heights branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library. This is the new…read morebuilding which was built 1 year ago in June 2018. I'm not from the area but I happened to be around visiting my friend In Berea so I stopped in to work on my laptop for a little bit. The building is big from the outside but there is actually only one level (one floor) inside. They close early on Sundays so by the time I arrived (around 4:10pm), they were almost closed. I still had time to walk around for a little bit even though I was only inside for less than an hour. They close at 5pm on Sundays. BOOKS -- You will find a varied selection of books here just like any other library. There is also a teenager section. If you can't find a copy of a book here, the librarians can search the other locations for you to get the book delivered. COMPUTERS -- I noticed less than 10 computers to use at the library. STUDY ROOMS -- I counted about 6 study rooms but there might be more. The door was locked when I tried to open the door so you will probably have to get the key from the front desk. I peaked inside one of the study rooms and there is a round table inside with 4 chairs. It is a small space but it gets the job done. I don't know how the noise level will be with the kids section a few feet away but at least the study room has a door. KIDS SECTION -- It is small but they have some play area activities for your kids including comfortable sofas and chairs to sit on which is at the back by the family restroom. I don't have any kids so the face that this area is small doesn't bother me. CAFE -- There is an area as you walk in (to your right) for you to eat and drink. They have vending machines there which is nice but this is not a traditional cafe with hot food. NOISE LEVEL -- It was quiet when I arrived (Sunday afternoon - 30 June 2019) and there were only about 3 other people inside. I'm not sure how noisy it will get when the kids are around because there is no wall to block off the noise since the whole library is on one floor. You could also book a study room if you need peace and quiet. PARKING -- There is plenty of parking outside on the lot. Overall, I didn't stay here long but my first impression is that this is a very clean library with friendly staff. The size is smaller than most libraries and the noise level may be high when kids hang around in the kids section. **** - 87 total reviews in 2019 - 296 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 30 June 2019

It is very conveniently located and easy to get to. Very manageable size to be intimate and cozy. The minute I walked in the desk attendant was asking if I needed help. Which I did! She pleasantly directed me to the place I needed to be They had a lot of current books on display, a table with literature concerning current events and opportunities. It's just a nice little library. Thanks to everyone there!

Today January 26, 2026 around 2 o'clock in the afternoon. I was driving on Engle Rd South to Bagley…read moreRd. When two officers in a Blk SUV Chevy Tahoe who were in front of me slowed down and crossed over to the rite lane, then they started slowing down like they wanted me to pass them I was assuming to pull me over for speeding which I wasn't. So I stayed maybe a car length behind them and I decided to pull into the FedEx parking lot just to avoid a confrontation with them for whatever it was they were looking for or wanted Flex their Badges. So I pulled back out onto Engle Rd still going South and low and behold their they were waiting for me to pass them by and of course they pulled behind me at the intersection light of Engle & Bagley Rd. As soon as I turned right they flashed their lights and pulled me over for allegedly having dark tinted windows on the drivers side door and passenger side window. They pulled out a tint reader and said the tint was to dark but wouldn't let me see the numbers it read. I've never had any vehicle I've owned windows tinted. I bought that vehicle 3yrs ago in Florida and that's how they were & I've never been stopped because of it. They deliberately profiled me because I was driving a Range Rover minding my own dam business. Asking me where I was going which is none of their business. Mind you it's a snow storm outside and all they were concerned with is a Blk man driving a nice vehicle obeying these Lame A$$ Laws set forth before us instead of protecting and serving the American people. It's not a moving violation jeez. It's a shame people can't even drive their on vehicles without being Harassed for no reason other than to inconvenience you and make money off of us. It's a Racket that needs to be addressed and Ceased. Further more as I'm being Deliberately detained for over 20 minutes they were really really really trying hard AF to find something on me so they could arrest me and tow my RR. This is how much Disturbed these police officers are. So gunhoe on taking a Blk Man to jail and making his life miserable like there's is. I Honestly believe that they're taught these type of tactics, my opinion Respectfully. I also noticed the SUV the officers were in had Darker tinted windows than my vehicle. Now isn't this called a double standard just because they're Officers of the law. Ohio Law for tinted windows should apply for everyone including Law enforcement. Regardless if they all believe they're above the law which in most cases they all do.They didn't bother to Honor one of my Police Badges I had with me. I'm retired from the City Water Dept and I've worked with numerous contractors in Middleburg for new developments and store fronts. Not one time have I've never been pulled over Harassed or profield by any of your Police officers till now. Of course that was over 20yrs ago. Now you have these young wanna beez out here quick to make a name for themselves thinking this Sh*ts funny. Yea they were laughing. I'm filing a complaint along with my relative whom the Badge belongs to for not Honoring it. This isn't the 1st incident involving your department profiling certain ethnic groups of people.
