When I stood there not knowing what to do- a lady sitting at the desk asked me what I wanted. I said "license plates" and she put me into the correct cue on her computer. I had gathered paperwork and my phone showing various information and the next desk filtered through and found the prove of what she needed. More room and better kiosks would be nice, but having employees used to the system is great.

I started my stopwatch as soon as I entered and it took 40 minutes in total for two of us to get our drivers license renewed. Step 1: You have to enter your name and reason for the visit in the iPad and wait for your turn. Step 2: Pre license document check. Once it's your turn , someone will call your name, check whether you have eligible documents and bundle them together with a paper clip and go back to your seat and wait again. Step 3: You will be called again to a different counter to complete license issuance like questions, picture etc. This office is worth a visit. Very kind people and they do have a website. Whom ever is running this, please takeover other inefficient DMV's like Olivette. Note: I had a very bad experience on the olivette office and wasted 2 hours the day before only to be sent back.

Visit before and get the passport form and fill it before appointment date or download the form online. 3. Bring a check book or have cash for money order 4. Don't worry about required photocopies. You can get tax help, certifications, and literacy assistance. We appreciate the kid friendly areas and this one has a fenced in outdoor playground which is perfect on a good day. I thought that was weird but I said OK. I will wait. I waited more than a week later and then I called again today 2nd Sept, since I haven't received my mail. The same lady told me she doesn't know when I would be receiving the mail cause it could be that they misplaced it and it's being rerouted. They lost my mail from the IRS. I'm pissed.

I read up on everything that I needed to do ahead of time, so I felt that was prepared. However, I got to the window and as the PO clerk went through his checklist, he got me on one thing - the money order. Gah! Luckily, he stated that he could sell me a money order if I could pay with cash or debit card. No problemo! I paid the expedited fees and off my data went! This was done on 29Dec. I received my new passport on 10Jan! Wow! Efficiency! I actually went back to this location with my best friend who also needed a new passport. Since she was only 4 years old on her last passport, and that passport book was forever lost, she had to start over with a new passport. Her process was a little different. 1st - You HAVE to make an appointment. You can do this online via the USPS website. 2nd - documents. New passports require multiple proofs of citizenship/IDs along with copies, front and back, of the original copies. (I don't know why they need all that.) Generally, the original birth certificate with the seal, social security card, driver's license. Copies of each; front and back of driver's license. If you're a married person who has taken on the surname of your betrothed, bring the marriage certificate (to prove/support why your last name differs from that on your birth certificate) and a copy of the marriage certificate. My friend also got her photo taken here. She had one taken at CVS but she liked the post office photography better so she used that photo instead. (I wish I'd done the same, because mine is definitely fugly!) Again, the young man assisting us was very helpful through the entire process. I'll be bringing my daughter here next to ensure a pleasant passport experience for her.
