They are also very knowledgeable. I'll often have a hard question and I'll speak to some teenager (cue eye roll). Then, the kid gives me a friendly and accurate answer because they've been going to the camp since they were 4 and are subject matter experts! It's hilarious. Send your kids. They'll have a great time and not become part of the furniture over the summer. Why are you still reading this? Sign up, man!

NOW the transportation that is a different story. I give them TWO STARS. Everyday they arrive late or super early and then get mad at you for not being at the stop. The very first day they were TWO HOURS LATE!!! Our bus counselor this past year was HORRIBLE. Every morning she had an attitude. One time they actually left my child and the director called apologizing. Bus counselor was very rude and unprofessional. I will not be using their transportation if I decide to return back to this camp.

My son is 14 and quite tall, but he learned basketball at the park, so there were some basic fundamentals that were missing in his game, that held him back from progressing as a player. After the first, 2hr session, I saw him moving a different way. During the first game after that clinic, he was utilizing what he had just learned from Seth (head coach at Elite Skills) and even he realized that these fundamental moves worked and made him better. Even if only for a little bit. However after a bunch of points later, I saw a confidence established for him that wasnt ever present before. Kudos to Seth for getting my son to listen and learn, and realize that feeling uncomfortable during the drills, is actually him LEARNING SOMETHING NEW AND MORE IMPORTANTLY THE RIGHT WAY.

As the owner says, it's very much a gym style experience with gymnastics theme. However, when I called today to get a better understanding of what levels my girls are now after 3 years, the owner informed me that they are beginners because they take classes on the Saturday and Sunday. And while they do subdivide kids within the class based levels, your kid is just a name and no profile is created about her/him where the owner is able to talk about without having to ask the teachers about it. Any parent education or a clear progression of levels is nonexistent, at least for my kids. If I wanted to gear towards competitive path, I was told that they can't try out unless they take at least 2 classes but usually this was invitation only. No instructor or facility has ever come to me or educated me regarding whether any child should or has the ability to move towards this. In addition, they got my child's information wrong and tells me she should have been recreational level. The owner calls me back to inform me that my daughter was working on back walkover after speaking to the instructor. My daughter works hard and I expect the facility to know my child and to monitoring the progression and also keep the parent informed. So if you child attends on Saturdays and Sunday, you are officially a beginner no matter how long you've been going there. Instructor's are good but how it's run and lack of communication with parents, and even general visibility of progressing the students is really bad.

The climbing areas can be challenging and perfect for active children and teens, while the smaller slides are ideal for smaller kids and toddlers. Those two areas are distinct from each other, which seems like a nice touch to prevent inadvertent collisions. Plenty of swings and a nearby restroom make it even more of an ideal playground than most. But the greatest feature is the water park. Sure, it's a simple element where you have large sprinklers to cool off on hot summer days, but it's such a treat ... and usually the most popular part of the fun, at least until the ice-cream truck arrives!
