The cafe is called Mickey's and has reasonably priced snacks. The coffee is nice with a complimentary bickie. It is easy to sit for over an hour while the kids just play. Finding the place and parking can be an issue but worth the effort

The next step up is the toddler area for children under the age of 4 and it's a mini version of the big play area, with little slippery dips and a small jumping castle to keep younger ones entertained. There's also a Muffin Break located within the playentre. It was stocked with a variety of fresh food options for both adults and kids - some healthy and some treats.

Also saw a toilet facility for Disabled people. Couldn't locate an unlocked bathroom, but I'm confident there must have been one somewhere in the vicinity. Further over there was a soccer match being played with great gusto. This reserve looked like a great spot to catch some rays, stretch the legs or just breath in the fresh air. The BBQs weren't being used . . . perhaps it was a bit early for the Tong Brigade! I have friends who live nearby and I'm sure they've chatted about a gathering of the clan in this park.

I think they were really able to draw the kids in their performance and offered a compelling and exciting performance for the young audience. Their performance was very fresh and energetic. It got all the kids and the parents up on their feet and just enjoying themselves. It's a great idea for a community event. Ellen her crew are really professional in what they do and really have the knack to keep the crowd enthralled. They have proven to be good crowd puller at various events. They are really good entertainers and cater for corporate, retail and private parties. Jitterbugs also have a Playland and a café at Castlehill.
