The management is terrible, lacking in communication between associates, have complained multiple times at the smoke shop about not being provided proper service and was assured multiple times something would be done about it, but still had the same poor service until I stopped buying my vape products there. Have applied for work at the Atlantic Superstore multiple times and never heard anything back, having my application rejected with no interview, even after being told I was the only one who applied for the position, was told multiple times that I would hear something back and never did. The local Walmart is a cheaper option for canned and frozen goods, I do my shopping there whenever possible. Overall, a very poor place to shop, management can't be counted on for anything.

We were somewhat time constrained, so just went for the salted caramel, served in a home made cone and a generous scoop to boot. Quite superb! With more time it would be fun to come up with your own combination and see what happens. Nice little garden out front with a couple of picnic tables. It's your standard Eggs Benny sandwiched between two thick slices of homemade bread (your choice of white, whole wheat or multigrain - no less!) and a bowl of some of the tastiest Hollandaise I've found in the past few months. All tucked away in an unassuming, down-home diner in Port Williams - a quick drive from downtown Wolfville! More people need to know about this! Four tables covered in business cards of diners-gone-by are set up in a space about the size of a loading elevator surrounded by antiques and collectibles of all kinds including a very important sign: 'Patience required as good food takes time to prepare.' Why so important? Well, there's only one person cooking back there. ONE. If she doesn't make it, you're not eating it. It makes for consistently hearty and satisfying meals, but it does increase your wait time. Portions are HUGE (actually, the burgers border on obscene...), everything is made fresh on site, and the prices are more than affordable considering what you get! And on that note, hit up an ATM at the corner store next door since it's all cash only!

Even when it was only half full we overhead the waitress welcoming new customers with "We will get to you as soon as we can". The waits weren't long, and the food was great! I rediscovered the origins of hash browns in their culturally authentic Acadian grated potato pancakes - the size of a Frisbee. Crunchy on the outside and soft inside. Lots of potato flavour! The middle sized breakfast was huge - eggs, bacon, home fries and great homemade bread. Annnd - one can substitute the potato pancakes for home fries!!!! Unfortunately it can't get a 5 star because they were seen reusing the homemade jam from the individual servings - scrape the top, smooth it out and add more to the top. As much as I encourage good economics of not throwing out tons of jam - this isn't a great practise:-( So, I leave it to your judgement - food great, space small, cash only and great prices. I hope they survive and thrive in Port Williams.
