Maybe I'm over enthusiastic about this place because we don't have it in the United States but my wife and I LOVE coming to Bulk Barn. It's a magical place where you arm yourself with plastic bags (like the ones at the grocery store) and you walk around and scoop stuff into them. It's that simple but it's also that awesome.
Almost anything you can think of, they have it here. There's 12 different kinds of flour for goodness sake! Candy, rice, spices, dog bones, pie filling...you name it, they have it. And you can get whatever quantity you want, from a pinch to a pound! You pay based on the weight but we bought about 10 different things and barely broke 20 dollars.
You want to try quinoa but you're not sure you'll like it? Buy a cup worth. Got a weird addiction to Sour Skittles and you're embarrassed the convenience store guy is starting to notice? Buy three pounds at Bulk Barn.
Our only knock is that we wish their scoops had measurements on them in case you're buying portions to cook with. read more
