Working in the healthcare field, I've had the opportunity to work with many treatment programs--and…read moreI can confidently say that Wings Recovery Center stands out as an exceptional place of healing and transformation. I referred a client to this center who was navigating significant challenges related to addiction and trauma. From the moment she was admitted, she was impressed by the professionalism, warmth, and trauma-informed care provided by the staff. The clinical team demonstrated deep compassion offering individualized treatment plans, evidence-based practices, and a safe, supportive environment for women to heal. What struck me most was their holistic approach--addressing not only substance use, but also the emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs of the women they serve. My client came back with a renewed sense of self, stronger coping tools, and a deep commitment to her recovery journey. No one wants to have to go to a treatment facility but to get your addiction issues addressed with a holistic approach makes it more empowering.

Really feel bad I have to rate it this low. And 2 is a stretch…read more When it was good, it was great. Competent, caring staff, well maintained facilities. When it wasn't, it was unprofessional to the point of being unethical. I didn't see my trauma therapist for the first 6 days I was there, and then at one point I went 11 days between trauma therapy sessions. I should have received 10-12 EMDR sessions and got a total of 5. And never received the final one. It was clear during those weeks that admitting new clients was their priority, to the detriment of existing clients. Even the staff were muttering quietly they were overworked and stressed with admissions and couldn't take care of their existing ones. Some staff did attempt to compensate but it wasn't enough. Sadly, this was not the only place I've seen this happen. Staffing and communication at even nationally-known places can be problematic and complaining can get one stereotyped to one's disadvantage. Smaller places like Wings suffer more. Would I go back? Would I refer clients (I work in the field)? Maybe. My peers were wonderful, the location is great, the staff caring. I would just warn people to not suffer silently when they don't get what they are promised when they are promised it.

Stay away, unless you have deep pockets. I was in the program from February to July of 2025 and…read moreworked hard in my recovery. The only reason why I'm leaving 2 stars is because the therapists on site were actually helpful and did a great job. But the management and payment system is an absolute mess. After a month or two of being in I asked my therapist if I have an outstanding bill and if so how could I pay it off. She had no clue and lead me to another therapist, which lead me to another, which lead me to another. No one had any idea of if there was an outstanding bill or how to pay if there was. Since there seemed to be a consensus of no one knowing I assumed that my insurance was covering it. Man was I wrong... I graduated in July and moved on with my life, next thing I know 4 MONTHS LATER comes a bill. They expect me to pay one lump sum of cash that I just dont have. Hence why I was asking earlier in my enrollment so I could make manageable payments. So in mid November I made a call to the number listed on the bill to see how it could be resolved. No answer so I leave a message. Maybe I could have reached out more but I figured its the holiday's they must be busy someone will get back to me. Wrong again THEY SENT ME TO COLLECTIONS! I try to reach out and see how we are able to work things out and instead they choose to ignore and potentially ruin my credit! Again this review does not reflect the quality of the help I got with the staff. But unless you want a hefty bill months after you finish, I would look for help elsewhere.

PLEASE READ…read more I went here about a year ago when I was 16, and it has traumatized me to this day. I wasn't planning on writing a review, but I want to make sure adolescents looking for treatment know more than I did going in. Let's start at the beginning: I was researching everywhere for a residential program and came across Montecatini. The admission process was fairly easy, but the website looked nothing like my actual experience. The rooms: The website shows bright and spacious rooms, but that was far from reality. Not that it mattered much -- we had to be out of our rooms by 7 a.m. and couldn't go back until 10 p.m. or later. I'm an early sleeper (around 9), so that extra hour made me miserable. The staff: Awful. The higher-ups are in it for the money, and therapists showed up once a week, if that. I didn't even meet my therapist until my second week, which was extremely hard while I was trying to adjust to being away from my family. Communication was terrible. I got only 10 minutes on the phone each day, and I always spent it crying to my mom, begging to leave. I desperately needed emotional support, but besides that short call, I got none. Privacy: There was basically none. Phone calls had to be made in the middle of the kitchen, with BHA's and nurses listening in. The program itself: Most days revolved around sitting on the couch, eating meals and snacks, and one or two boring therapy groups. Once a week we had a "team meeting" to review our block system. If you did "well," you earned privileges like making your own meals or going for a walk. They always asked for suggestions on what to change, but nothing ever did. The staff on the floor (BHAs): Some were good, but many were clueless. Kids in my house stole vapes, needles, and more -- nothing was done. Most of the time, staff just sat on their phones instead of supporting us. Food/groceries: At first, groceries were delivered every week or two. But eventually we went nearly 4 weeks without a proper delivery and had to figure out snacks and meals from whatever was left (not much). Phone policy: Adolescents are not allowed their personal phones at all. They lock them up, and you don't get them back until discharge. Discharge: At first, I was told 4 weeks. Then, three weeks later, my parents were told 3 more -- only after begging for an update. The date kept getting pushed back until my parents demanded the actual criteria for discharge, just so they'd have proof of what was being promised. Shoutouts: Katie, the dietitian, was by far the best worker there. She actually understood me, and whenever she was around, it was a good day. Some nurses were good too. Overall: They advertise 24/7 support, but in reality, I saw my therapist once a week. The only people there 24/7 were the nurses, and half of them were just glued to their phones. I did meet a really good friend, but the program itself left me traumatized. DO NOT GO HERE. Terrible, terrible, terrible. I will never recommend this place, no matter the case.

I felt okay about the first visit, however, after having an allergic reaction to my meds a week or two later, I was told to stop meds and to have a phone appt with the therapist. I wanted to re-evaluate my meds and that is it (no therapy involved as I am working). I already knew to stop the medication, and all she did was reiterate that by phone. Literally 4 minutes of transfer to doctor and 8 minutes talking to therapist and $50 later. I expressed my concern about the payment, and will pay; the therapist doesn't handle billing and was very cold when I expressed my feelings about the payment and she was "sorry for my frustration" with no emotion involved, it is what it is-but coming from working in a medical facility, this isn't right. Will continue care with provider because I need help, but now very reluctant. I am sorry I had to write this knowing I am choosing to continue care; but wanted to put this out there, hoping they can improve their system in the future.

My appointment was at 9:30am. So I arrived around 10 minutes early. There was no wait and the receptionist finished checking me in at 9:24am. (There is paperwork to fill in for new patients, which they have you print out at home and fill out beforehand. I've never had to do that before, but something to note if you don't have a printer. I would assume they have workarounds.) They have a waiting area, where I waited before I was put in a room and checked for vitals at 9:38. And I was seen by the doctor at 9:49. So pretty standard wait time. Staff was nice and friendly. They have a small kitchen area where you can get water. Their water machine was broken but the receptionist was happy to help me pour it out of the jug into my bottle. They have wifi while you wait (connection was pretty bad, otherwise. Internet was barely working in my phone. I have ATT.) Also, they have you wash your hands before coming in. Seems like the waiting area has a lot of books so maybe it's to keep everything clean for all patients. Apparently not a Korean clinic, but the owner is Korean, doctors speak Korean, and they have many Korean patients. My care was in English. I saw the newest doctor there, Dr. Yu, who gave me an annual physical. She listened to all my questions and provided good information, as well as looked through my past information and helped me order bloodwork. They apparently can do blood work on site Tuesdays and Thursdays after 10am, or you can go through Labcorp. Overall, it was convenient, and the clinic was nice. I got an appointment pretty quickly (within a couple weeks of scheduling).
