On multiple occasions, I've asked simple questions regarding my family members well-being or care…read moreroutine and have been met with rudeness, dismissiveness, or even raised voices. Most recently, I was spoken to in a tone that felt condescending and unprofessional, which was upsetting and completely uncalled for. I fully understand that this is a high-stress environment, and I always try to be respectful in my interactions. However, I believe every family deserves to be treated with courtesy and dignity--especially when advocating for a loved one's care.

On the morning she died, around seven a.m., I had a vivid dream where my mother warmly embraced me. Feeling something was wrong, I immediately called the hospital to ask about her condition. They told me only that she wasn't doing well, giving no details. It wasn't until around two-thirty that afternoon that the hospital called me back, saying she was close to death and urging me to come quickly. When I arrived, I was devastated to find my mother had already passed away hours earlier. Her body was cold and discolored -- she had clearly died that morning, the same time I had the dream -- but the hospital lied about the timing. The staff's cold and indifferent behavior added to my grief. I was forced to wear full protective gear just to see her, and a nurse coldly asked, "When will you remove the body? We can't keep it here long," showing a shocking lack of respect. Later, after I shared my experience publicly, the hospital director apologized, but then personally threatened me, saying that if I ever posted a similar review again, their Regal team would come after me. Alcott Rehabilitation Hospital failed in both care and compassion. Their negligence and callousness caused our family unnecessary pain. If you truly love your parents or loved ones, never entrust them to such a hospital -- a place that treats people like this is no place for a human being. I share this story to warn others and demand accountability. Families deserve honesty, empathy, and respect -- all of which were sadly missing here. ************************************ Update (in response to the facility's public reply): After I posted this review, the facility left the message asking me to contact them privately. Let me be clear -- I have no desire to speak with you privately. Everything I experienced is written right here. If you truly cared about accountability and compassion, you would've acted when it mattered -- when my mother was alive, when she was dying alone, and when I needed answers. And if your plan is to do what you did last time -- pretend to apologize just to lure me into the facility, sit me down alone in a quiet room, and then threaten me with "your legal team coming after me" if I ever speak up again -- don't bother. That experience was terrifying and deeply disturbing, and I haven't forgotten it. I will not have any private discussions with you now or in the future. I'm simply telling the truth about what happened, and I won't be silenced by fear or intimidation.

I wouldn't even give this physical therapy clinic one star, and I would never recommend it to…read moreanyone. I went there for treatment for both of my knees due to arthritis. Initially, the physical therapist--who turned out to be the clinic's owner--planned to treat one knee at a time on different days, and I continued with that routine. They scheduled me for two appointments on September 2nd and 4th. On September 2nd, I called to reschedule the September 4th appointment to the afternoon due to personal reasons, but they said there was no availability that week. So I canceled the September 4th appointment and went for my September 2nd appointment as planned. However, when I arrived, a staff member told me there was no appointment for that day. I showed the note I had for the appointment, but the staff continued to check the schedule on their computer. They spoke as if I were lying to receive treatment despite having a confirmed appointment. Eventually, the person who took my call told me to wait, and I had to point out to the staff member who claimed there was no appointment that it was their mistake. On that day, the massage performed by the owner was so rough that it felt like they were taking out their frustration on me. When I got home, I noticed bruising on the treated area. On September 9th, I went for my appointment as usual, but the owner said, contrary to what I had been told before, that they could only treat one side at a time instead of alternating knees. The owner tried to treat my bruised leg, and I reminded them that previously, each knee was supposed to be treated on different days. However, the therapist insisted that treating one side at a time was the clinic's rule. I stopped the treatment on my bruised leg, and the therapist exchanged looks with the staff member I had confronted before, as if they were saying they had succeeded in getting rid of the patient who pointed out their mistake. Most of the staff were also not very friendly, with only a few exceptions. The "treatment" consisted only of massage and exercises; there was no electrical therapy or ultrasound treatment. I have been to many physical therapy clinics, but I have never experienced anything like this. I will never go back and would never recommend this clinic to anyone.

Thanks to their support, my leg is now stronger than ever. I truly appreciate each of them for their effort, and I highly recommend this place.

I discovered him through my wonderful beautician of over 10 years Jackie, his wife, I am so thankful to have met this remarkable dedicated doctor and brilliant herbalist - taught from a very early age, by his grandfather in the countryside of Korea, herbs were his only toys. I went to see him with a chronic condition and a knee injury; within a matter of six weeks steady acupuncture visits whilst drinking the special custom made brew of Korean herbs Dr Seok devised for me, I experienced a total transformation of body function including a healed knee!! Have to admit, quite pricey, but ultimately the phenomenal results I consider priceless. I urge any one who has any kind of complaint from minor pain, preventative maintenance to something more of a serious nature to see this man at the very least once - no doubt you will discover as I did Dr Seok's uncanny knowledge of how the body operates along with his relentless commitment and sincerity to help heal what ever is going on, is indeed rare and gratefully welcoming. And, if you are looking for a superb facial ...it's one more reason to go and meet Jackie too !!!
