Soarin is one of my favorite rides at Epcot and Disney's California Adventure! Soarin' is located in the Land Pavilion at Disney World's Epcot Theme Park. It's on the first level near Living with the Land. If you purchase the multi-pass lightning lane, Soarin is a Tier I ride. You can choose between Frozen Ever After, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, or Soarin Around the World initially with your first ride of the day out of the three rides you can reserve in-advance. The typical stand-by wait time for Soarin can range from 30 minutes to 60 minutes on a busy day. While waiting in the stand-by line, you can play a travel-themed trivia game using your mobile device! If you score a lot of points, you'll be on the score board at Soarin! Soarin Around the World is an immersive ride that simulates flying in the sky. Before going on the ride, you'll listen to a variety of safety instructions from a flight crew member! There are [3] different boarding levels, 1, 2, and 3. The 1st boarding group is the highest in the air, and the 3rd is the lowest in the air. Once you enter the ride, you'll sit down in the ride vehicle and buckle up. The ride vehicle lifts you in the air in front of a huge screen! There are elements to this ride like smell, wind, and movement. There used to be water when the whale would splash, but I'm not sure if that was removed? Some of the areas you'll visit on the ride are the Great Pyramids of Egypt, the Taj Mahal in India, Fiji's Lau Island, and so much more! The screen is massive! It's 180-degree, 80-foot Imax digital projection dome. I'm not sure if it's the same size as the Avatar ride in Animal Kingdom, but it feels similar. The music in the Soarin ride is amazing. The music and the video makes it feel like you're there, in person at all of those sites. This is a must ride for my family every time we visit Epcot! It's so much fun!

What a blast! One of my favorite rides at EPCOT. The line was really long but worth the wait. As you enter the dome, strapped in and lifted off the ground, legs dangling, the journey begins. Wind, mist, temperature changes all matches each simulated location as you are hand gliding over some of the world's greatest wonders. Such a heart pumping experience. Afterwards, play the mobile device trivia game at the end.

My fav ride...I had feeling I'm an eagle in heights and looking from its eyes...the most fun part of the ride was to smell the orange, feel the wind in face and etc...Everything looks so real...All my senses were involved. The line was so long but it did worth the wait time. Be aware that you are sitting in a ride that you'll feel you are in height so if you afraid of height you get that vibes...Overall, great experience...

Soarin' over California... in Florida? I was really hoping to be soaring over Florida or somewhere else lol Disney California has the same ride and you soar over different places in California. So I was hopeful that we might soar over different places in Florida maybe? Wishful thinking I guess? Still a fun ride! You soar or "float" over orange groves, the beach, the mountains, and varies locations in California. You smell all the things too, which is fun! This is a nice ride,

Soarin' is a flight simulated thrill ride located at disneys Epcot theme park. The ride itself is located inside a mall like area of the parks called "the land". One of the more popular rides at Epcot you can expect to wait a good hour or so with no fast pass on this ride. The ride itself has you sit down in a seat that is clustered together with a bunch of other seats. You are then propelled into the air in front of a huge screen. The ride simulates the movement as you soar through some of our worlds most beautiful sites, cities and countries. The ride itself is not only breathtaking but also had the element of fun and slightly thrilling as well. Overall This is one of the more popular Epcot rides and is for good reason. Pretty fun and offers breathtaking views or places only a few are lucky enough to travel and see all of.

It turned out to be a magical day, and now I can't stop thinking about going back! I didn't love the rides. I had no chance to ride the Guardians rollercoaster due to ridiculous lines. A few "dark rides" (Caballeros, Nemo, and Ratatouille), weren't bad as shelter from the scorching Florida heat. The real magic is in entering "flow state" and wandering the world showcase areas. The architecture and atmosphere draws you in and scratches that international travel itch. There are so many nooks, crannies, and hidden treasures to explore - from unique shops to themed restaurants. The real stars were the excellent food and drink options. The food from the numerous themed stands and stalls is ridiculously good and priced fairly. Drinks are very expensive but a memorable part of the visit. My favorites were the cajun food (poboy and gumbo) and the famous fish and chips. The margaritas at La Cava de Tequila were astoundingly good (with a pricetag to match). For adults who don't need a ton of high-G roller coasters, EPCOT is just about perfect. I can't wait to return.

Loved this park! We recently went to Epcot (unknown to us,…read moreit was smack in the middle of the garden and flower festival) and had a blast. As a child, I never appreciated Epcot. As an adult, I have quite the different opinion. We went here (all adults, no kids) and had so much fun. We tried a ton of the food stands for the festival, saw all the pavilions and just explored the park! Id say fitting the ENTIRE park in one day is HARD. I'd recommend atleast 1.5-2 days...our feet were hurting (and we were there from open to close) and we didn't get to do all the rides we wanted. The firework show in the evening is spectacular. It's been a long time since I've been to magic kingdom, but from what I remember of that show (from 10+ years ago) the Epcot show is definitely the winner. The entire story, music, lights, and fireworks are breathtaking. If you're going to Disney make sure you don't skip Epcot!

The Tower of Terror is another favorite and lives on here with its classic Twilight Zone theming. There are tons of great food and beverage options here, and the staff are consistently very friendly. Now that I've experienced both, I think I'm good. We mainly went for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, which was definitely the highlight of the day. I pre-purchased Lightning Lane and Single Passes, and while they helped for a few rides, it still felt difficult to accomplish everything we wanted. No times ever opened up for Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, so we ended up waiting in the regular standby line for over an hour. Slinky Dog Dash never became available either, and eventually we just gave up. I honestly don't know where all these people come from -- every Disney park visit seems packed no matter what day we go! One thing I highly recommend is making advance reservations for Oga's Cantina. We were very happy we planned ahead because walk-up wait times were over an hour. The atmosphere was fantastic and it ended up being one of our favorite experiences of the day. I know Hollywood Studios is undergoing a lot of changes in 2026, so hopefully future visits will feel a little more balanced and fulfilling.

Wear walking shoes. If it is spring or summer, bring sun screen. -be prepared for LOTS of people (if they drive like they walk, no wonder the US has such a high vehicular fatality rate). Be patient. -be prepared to overpay for just about everything. But oddly, the $300 per person multi-park ticket is a good deal. Why? Because you get so much entertainment. There are loads of Disney employees everywhere who are friendly and ready to help with any questions. They all are paid, so the $300 is actually not a bad deal when you consider how many employees there are in each park, how clean the parks are, and all the upkeep to maintain the animals and rides. -if you get tired, and you will, take a break. It's not fun if you get so tired that you get cranky. -Don't forget to enjoy the smiles on the kids' faces!

I did find it interesting that the boat flipped backwards and the ride ended up being designed a bit more differently than I expected. All in all, it's a cute ride, but I felt like Remy had more bang for your buck - so unless I'm with someone who hasn't ridden it before (and it's EE/AH) I see myself continuing to skip it in the future.

Back a few years later and we definitely wanted to experience Frozen's boat ride again. There's no…read moreoptions for single riders so we had to commit to the standby line, which is going to be a solid 30-60 minutes throughout the day. Frozen fans will love the scenes and music. As adults we loved the directional changes of the boat and small drops. You may feel water get in the boat - minimal but a few damp bottoms. Great ride for all ages.

SAIL ACROSS THE SEA AND RESTORE THE HEART OF TE FITI…read more We really enjoyed doing the Moana Journey of Water located in the EPCOT World Nature Seas Pavilion. Park guests can stay dry or get as wet as they want while they take a self-guided journey through Moana's world. The Journey took us through a lush tropical island where we soon met the island goddess Te Fiti. On our journey, we played music with streams of water, raised water with the swish of our hands, parted a water fall and directed a dance of leaping streams of water. These are really fun activities for both young and old. Bring a set of dry clothes for your little ones who might enjoy getting wet on the splash pad :o). Try to time your journey with a character meet and greet with Moana. Plus don't forget to drop by the wonderful SeaBase aquarium that is near the Journey of Water.

Located in World Nature, the attraction is entirely outdoors. During the hot Florida summers, my wife likes to come here to get misted and cool off. It's almost like a high-end splash pad with interactive water features that respond to your movements. It has a fun, playful vibe. It's a nice break from the more intense rides. Tip: If you don't want to get wet, there's a clearly marked "Dry Path" throughout the entire experience. You can still see all the interactive features and the stunning 16-foot-tall Te Fiti figure. We had the Disney PhotoPass Memory Maker package and got some cool photos with Te Fiti (the nature goddess from the 2016 film) and several other beautiful water effects. Historical Note: This attraction is relatively new, opening in late 2023. It sits on the site of what used to be Innoventions West (which was demolished in 2021). Interestingly, while the West building was cleared for this garden, the Innoventions East building was kept and heavily renovated to become the new Connections Eatery and Creations Shop. This whole section of the park has officially been rebranded from Future World to World Nature.

It was easy to enter using the My Disney Experience app, as it already had the tickets under my account, and it was also a quick bus ride from Disney Springs. Towels are complimentary, and lockers have a small fee. Changing rooms are located near the front of the park, and are reasonably ok considering how many people go through them. The floor is paved but pretty hot to walk on, so I still recommend wearing waterproof footwear. Waterproof phone holders are probably the #1 most useful item to bring here, other than sunscreen. There was a surprisingly large amount of people here on a Monday; pretty much all the chairs were taken around the wave pool, and there were scarce empty spots in the humongous body of water with equally gigantic waves. They're not waves for babies or beginners at all - they knock you down and drag you far, even where you think you're far enough, which is pretty rad. While a lot of people were crawling around the park, the wait times weren't too bad. The lazy river, Castaway Creek, was chill. There were people around us all the time, but enough space to still feel comfortable. I was amazed at how long the river went on for, and at how much varied scenery they detailed through the course. I also loved and hated the surprise waterfall you're forced to go under at the base of the mountain. I wasn't able to get through as many rides as I'd hope because of a brewing storm that eventually rained everyone out of the park. There are attractions for people of all thrill levels, though they seem more family-friendly than catered to daredevils. The rides are easy to get on, too - you just walk up, grab an available tube, and wait in line. There are also convenient refreshments littered at all ends of the roundabout park. The theming around the park is fantastic, including the iconic Miss Tilly atop Mount Mayday. Lagoona Gator both welcomes and waves you off at the entrance of the park.
