Our insurance company required us to remove moss accumulation from our concrete tile roof. Original roof built in the 90's. Prior to finding Austin, a previous "roofing" contractor sent a couple of guys out to clean the moss. They said they had "never" done this before and came out with a strong pressure washer. The Contractor told me $150 per hour. After about 4 hours, I was informed by the two roofing guys, the $150 was "per man" and the job would take at least 10-12hours. I pulled them off the job and found Austin. The roofing guys left a rectangular patch about 10 feet by 10 feet that stood out like a sore thumb. Austin came out and using 3 or 4 different methods, not only removed every speck of moss, lichens and stains, but he was able to perfectly blend the patch the other guys had left behind. We have a large roof and it took Austin about 3 FULL days to complete. He also did our solar panels. Austin is one of the hardest working and polite and professional young men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He worked from early morning, until evening, "dinner time". We purchased the home and it was undergoing a complete remodel at the same time. When Austin was done, the roof literally looked like new. That was great since we were also repainting the outside. He cleaned everything up, the grounds around the house and any mess. My wife and I couldn't have been more happy with the result. Austin is honest and VERY reasonable too. I would strongly recommend him to anyone, that has a tough cleaning job or requires stain or moss removal.

The only downside was that my furnace is in the crawlspace above my laundry room they had to remove the trim and some drywall to get the new unit in there. I would have liked to know that in advance (that the new unit was larger than the space opening could accommodate) because their quote to repair the drywall and trim work was way more than I was willing to pay, so I found a Handyman that would do the work for much less money. Bottom line, they did a great job and I was happy with the overall work. I would just make sure to ask them if the new unit will fit into the space that you have available. Just so that you don't get a surprise extra expense.

They wanted to bill us for a diagnostic visit to determine the cause of the leak. This was not acceptable. We had just purchased an entire new AC unit from them less than one year ago. I don't recommend them because of their lack of honor and supporting their work. There are other honest and reputable AC companies that I would choose over Royal.
